They're always a disappointment, tbh..nostalgia from fans and media that grew up watching conventional teams..
Getting butt ed by 30 at home against an Irving-less Cavs on B2B..I have a sneaky feeling they are going to be quite disappointment record-wise unless they make trade and fix their shooting woes....the team and the core have clearly plateaued..
They're always a disappointment, tbh..nostalgia from fans and media that grew up watching conventional teams..
King James OWNED the west last year when he had his whole team, tbh, after the NY trades. 14-1 with full team. This ain't new, tbh
Grizzlies
Still can't shoot and still don't defend the 3 point line
Need shooting, but continues to pursues mediocre at best players who can't shoot.
Matt Barnes getting owned by Richard Jefferson
Mike Conley getting raped by both Mo Williams and Matthew Dellavedova
Jeff Green still sucks
Dave Joerger: W-w-we're going to try to be nasty this season

what i meant is their regular season record..they are projected as mid-50s win team; i think they could be struggling to get to 50..Remember last year they got off to fluky start and kept pace with warriors early on before the Jeff Green trade....
I can see the Cavs doing this in many cities in the West. Not to mention they had the advantage of this being their 2nd game of the season already and coming of a painful loss.
Don't see what the big deal is.
Cavs are best team in the league and its not close once aIrving comes back. Nobody is taking their ring from them.
...Last time they had a ring you took it from them,,,then gave the damn thing back.
When was this?
Our bench is pathetic. No legit bench shooters for 5 years and we go out and trade for Matt Barnes? That's the answer? Chris Wallace should be fired.
Don't even start.
True..I still think they'll get the 6 seed and 50 wins, though, the bottom of the West is pretty bad after the top 6, tbh..
1. Warriors, 63–19
2. Clippers, 59–23
3. Rockets, 57–25
4. Thunderefs, 56–26
5. Grizzlies, 53–29
6. Pelicans, 52–30 + TB
7. Spurs, 52–30 - TB
8. Jazz, 44–38 OR Mavs, similar record
tbh
^^ Pelicans are ravaged by injuries, they won't get anywhere near 52 wins IMO..
When are we going to discuss Fat Gasol being considered a top 10 player, and starting all star games over Cousins who almost single handedly beat the Clips
curbstompted by 50 in what should be revenge game for WCSF
They have looked deflated, tbh..probably time to make some moves..
I know it sounds crazy but they could actually use a guy like Swaggy P ... their 3 point shooting is horrible so they get NO spacing for their bigs. Sad thing is as ty as LAkers have been this year Young has been our best player outside of Randle.
Ya, they have needed shooting and a secondary perimeter creator for years, but the elephant in the room is Randolph..he's a huge liability on defense, which means he needs to put up around 20 on the other end to negate it, which he can no longer do vs. defenders like Draymond..
I must say I am really curious to see if Draymond can hold up vs. spurs front-line. Bogut will take Tim and be solid but can Green stop LMA? And if they go small can Barnes check LMA? Iggy will also have to match up with Kiwi. I think the most interesting matchups would be the big 4 Gstate, LAC, OKC and SAS With rox just outside of that once healthy. I know people are dismissing seeding but you are right after the top 5 the West is mediocre. Getting the 1/8 and winner of 4/5 is part of why the Dubs were "lucky" last year. 1 seed will have a good advantage on the field ...though Cavs will have it even easier.
Draymonf is short but hes oK lk against most bigs. He does well enough against Davis. I guess against the spurs, their starting lineup should be good enough to beat the addition of aldridge. I dont know draymond number against aldridge, but its probably not too bad. Draymond usually just gives away jumpers to bigs that can shoot. I think he does it on purpose.
