Aldridge will probably play extended minutes to fasten the process of him getting acclimated.
I'm not putting any Melissa pics or any other pic because we don't need any good luck charm to beat the ing nets on a home opener coming off a close loss. Let's just get our first dub.

Yeah, the only question is whether the team will allow the Nets to score 100. It'll also be interesting to see if Kawhi will score at least 20, though and stays aggressive. In the past, after a game where he goes alpha, I'd expect him to have a more passive game where his D makes the most impact, but this is a new Kawhi.
Ready to see Boban get some meaningful minutes tbh.
Meh..The defense is there. Defense is always an easier process, specially with this team when you have one of the best defensive players Ever in Kawhi Leonard, Tim Duncan and the best transition defender in the league in Danny Green..
I expect the defense to tighten up once the newer guys have better acclimated themselves in the offense..
Aldridge doesn't even have an issue as a defender..He's fine.
Defense is really fine.
Kawhi Knows he's the best player in the team tbh...He's calm and confident..The last 4 years he's had question about his role, obviously..as evident with Pop telling him to just forget about the Big 3 and be the big one..
Even if he doesn't score 20 tomorrow, he'll still end up averaging 21+ by the end of the season.
I think consistency is key for him this year. He won't always have the hot hand, but he should always be aggressive and looking to make stuff happen. I would expect the team to try to get LMA going too though, so he could probably strike a balance between looking for his shots, and looking to set others up.
I look forward to this too. I don't think he should be suited up, but someone's minutes got to give for Boban to play, meaning we have a sufficiently comfortable lead that Pop will get him in the game.
BTW, who was in suits the last game?
i expect Aldridge to have a better performance, especially his rebound and the points he will have
Hope KL can maintain his hunger to score more points.
And hope TP can really play better, i have no hope on him recently, please prove me wrong..
And everyone thinks that Spurs will get an easy win tmr, but Nets may surprise us....
So dont be too positive on Spurs as Spurs always shocks us in several ways....
Suit up Boban, deactivate Bonner.
Game 2 of the regular season is a make-or-break game for KA?Make-or-break games happen in the pre- and post-season, no? Surely you've watched enough of Tim/Pop's games over the past 18 years to know we won't start trotting out real game until Feb. Until that time comes, loosen your belt and enjoy 4th quarter rallies and the experiments preceding them.
Let's get r done
I suppose we're going to see the new HEB commercials too?
I think the Nets would be a good opponent for a little Boban experimentation. Try the big guy against BLopez and see what happens.
Spurs get that 1st win tonight!!!
And Tim, Manu, and Tony tie the Celtics record tonight!!!
Spurs fans...I'm traveling and looking for a stream to watch the game. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!![]()
Billy Kennedy on the whistle tonight (though not the crew chief, interestingly).
Always seems to be an interesting night for the Spurs when Billy K. is on the call.
