This teaches us a few things:

- This team has untapped potential on defense
- BUT, Diaw and West CANNOT play together as the 2 bigs
- We must have one of Aldridge or Duncan (or, perhaps Boban later) in the game to consistently get stops
- LMA is a team player
- Kawhi is going to be an allstar this year
- Anderson shouldn't play except in garbage time and punt games

The 2nd unit needs Boban, I'm not sure if you can fit West and Diaw as well though, a rim protector like Boban can erase a ton of mistakes.

Yep. I even wanted to see him tested against Lopez.

Agreed, unless we're playing an uber-small team like the Warriors' small lineup. West continues to look very much a fair price for his minimum contract, nothing more nothing less. I don't know if he'll accept being the 5th big, though. Boris "Horry" Diaw continues to be invaluable and indispensable to the team. Boban is only 27 and he could turn into quite a of a force off the bench if he'd actually use his nature-given body to overwhelm guys in the post instead of turning around and shooting a pop-a-shot over their heads. GSG!

I've actually said that before, so yes that's true. West + Diaw are superior to Speights + any other bench big they have. But against the likes of HOU, OKC, LAC, CLE, etc.... Diaw + West are a giant liability together. West is the main reason why as he is too inversatile on offense and too short to alter shots on defense.

You absolutely cannot play Boban against the Thunderefs, Dubs, or the Cavs, though. They're way too fast for him.

I hope you are right. We have a lot to figure out still, and I think these old pros will be able to be on the floor against most teams. I still expect to see Timmy and LMA staggered more.

The Spurs won 60 games with Blair/Bonner being the backup bigs in 2011. They'll be fine with Boris/West tbh.
