I dont get why Spur fans dont get the fact that different leadership styles work for different people. Pop gets on players doe sthat make him a bad coach? What about Bill B,Parcells?

I do prefer Magic's leadership to Kobe (or Kareem's) but that doesnt mean other ways aren't effective. Take Kobe out. Let's talk MJ or Ray LEwis both are not the people you want dating your sister but I would take their drive passion and leadership even if they yell or berate the occasional team-mate to be the leader they need to be.

Please don't equate pops leadership to kobes.

Pop builds personal relationship first that allows him to chew up his players. Kobe just shows he's better and anybody else is not worthy. He goes to the press and throws teammates who dare challenge him for the top dog status under the bus.

What a ... This just proves that Kobe still doesn't get it. He still believes that being a "leader" means intimidating his teammates and acting like a fake tough guy, when real leaders know it's all about gaining your teammates' trust and having quality interpersonal relationships with them.

And that's why he'll always be inferior to Duncan (among other reasons).
