ok, fair point, journalists strive for metaphors, most are ty gimmicks

but obviously Donny T is the "dominant" bully, Macho Man, driving member of the Repug Klown Kar, esp over an omega loser like Jeb.

Donny T is still a joke, a clown with money and "dealz", a caricature of a Real Man, and even that trumps all the other Repug losers.

Team Jeb claims Dubya 'inherited' 9/11 and recession

April 2009—just weeks after Obama entered the Oval Office in the midst of the greatest American economic calamity since the Great Depression—Jeb protested:

"If I had one humble criticism of President Obama, it would be to stop this notion of somehow framing everything in the context of 'Everything was bad before I got here' and focus on his duties, which we all want him to succeed. But constantly pushing down the previous president to make yourself look good I think is a bad thing."

Cheney adviser Mary Matalin. In December 2009, she could have been speaking for the entire Bush team when she offered this masterpiece of Republican turd polishing:

"I was there, we inherited a recession from President Clinton, and we inherited the most tragic attack on our own soil in our nation's history."

New Poll Shows Jeb Bush Continuing To Fall Among Republicans Nationally

“The money train may be chugging along for the Bush campaign, but the polling train has been steadily losing steam,” Patrick Murray, director of the Monmouth University Polling Ins ute in West Long Branch, New Jersey, said in a statement accompanying the poll.

Bush, the establishment GOP's long-anointed pick for nominee, polled at just 5 percent, barely edging out former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), who each polled at 4 percent.

Bush's standing has fallen in every successive Monmouth poll since July, when he led the GOP field with 15 percent.

His current standing is a full 10 points lower than it was when the slide began.

I can't wait to see the victory lap Donald takes when he knocks Jeb out of the race.

    Trump Is Right About 9/11

There’s no way of knowing for sure if Bush could have stopped the September 11 attacks.

But that’s not the right question.

    The right question is:

Did Bush do everything he could reasonably have to stop them, given what he knew at the time?

    And he didn’t.

    It’s not even close.

    http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2015/10/did-george-w-bush-do-all-he-could-to-prevent-911/411175/

    Thanks, Repugs.

Allowing 9/11 to happen, then using 9/11 as pretext to invade Iraq for BigOil, de-stabilizing the Middle East into a horrendous pile of whose victims the American Empire, (esp racist, Islamophobe Repugs), refuses to assist.

Jeb Bush tries to save his flailing campaign by cutting back on staffing—for the second time

One Bush adviser told Bloomberg Politics in an interview Friday morning that the team was "unapologetic" about the changes, saying

the moves were from a "position of strength." "This is about winning the race," the adviser said. "We're doing it now and making the shifts with confidence. We expect to win."

Bush's problems, really, begin and end with the one staffer he can't cut: the guy at the very top. Bush is a lousy campaigner who simply is not and cannot offer conservatives what they want. Could he still emerge at the end of a bruising campaign as the establishment pick after more exotic candidates flame out? Sure. But for the one-time frontrunner, this is a sad spot to find himself in, and no amount of payroll slicing can fix Jeb.

BUSH SLASHING SPENDING, SHIFTING STAFF AMID CAMPAIGN WOES
    Source: Associated Press

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (AP) -- Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush is drastically slashing campaign spending, including an across-the-board pay cut for staff, as the one-time front-runner seeks to salvage his bid for the GOP nomination.

The moves will reduce the campaign's payroll by 40 percent, while also cutting travel costs by 20 percent and eliminating extraneous overhead costs. Most campaign officials were told of the cost-cutting on Friday.

The changes mark a significant setback for a campaign that spent months building a large operation, but there are no signs Bush is on the verge of withdrawing from the race. He was scheduled to attend an event at Regent University in Virginia on Friday afternoon and had events with donors beginning Sunday in Tex

Jeb Bush: Let's take the Interior Department, and move it over here!

There is just no way that Jeb! Bush isn't the dumb one.

Jeb Bush is proposing that the Department of the Interior's headquarters be moved from Washington to the western United States as part of a four-part plan for reforming federal land management practices he unveiled Wednesday, marking yet another attempt to distance himself and his policies from the nation's capital.

So by "distancing himself and his policies from the nation's capital," Jeb Bush literally means
distancing his policies from the nation's capital. The exact same policies, but what if we moved them over here.

In a post on Medium, the Republican White House hopeful says that in addition to moving the department's headquarters, he wants to expand state power over federal lands, encourage "better" management of those areas, clear the way for more mining and energy development and expand recreational access. Bush will pitch his plan during a campaign stop in Reno, Nevada.

Jeb Bush Throws A Fit And Tells America He Has Better Things To Do Than Be President

Bush tells America if they want to elect Trump, go right ahead.

Jeb Bush has better things to do than sit around and be demonized.
Speaking in South Carolina today, Jeb Bush said (via CNN’s Jake Tapper), “If this election is about how we’re going to fight to get nothing done, then I don’t want anything, I don’t want any part of it.

I don’t want to be elected president to sit around and see gridlock just become so dominant that people literally are in decline in their lives.

    That is not my motivation.

I’ve got a lot of really cool things I cold do other than sit around, being miserable, listening to people demonize me and feeling compelled to demonize them.

    That is a joke.

Elect Trump if you want that.”

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) on Saturday brushed off speculation that his presidential campaign was struggling, and ... a day after his campaign announced it was cutting payroll and budget by 40 and 45 percent, respectively, Bush said that he was simply making an "adjustment."
    ...
After an anonymous donor told The Washington Post that Bush's campaign had entered a "death spiral," the former Florida governor said that reports of his campaign's struggling were ... "Blah, blah, blah," he said. "That's my answer -- blah, blah, blah."

While Bush said on Saturday that his October polling was of little concern because the party would select its nominee in February and March, once caucuses and primaries began, he also sounded like a man who had had enough -- fed up with the constant attacks on his stamina by the reality TV star stomping him in the polls, and ready to let the voters make a bad decision if they wanted to.
    ...
Bush, who was considered a front-runner for the Republican nomination when he announced his candidacy in June, has experienced a slide in the polls recently. According to HuffPost Pollster, he has the support of 7.3 percent of likely Republican primary voters nationally, trailing Donald Trump, Ben Carson and Sen. Marco Rubio (Fla.). He's also not faring well in Iowa, where he only has the support of 5.2 percent of likely caucusgoers. In New Hampshire, Bush has the support of 8 percent of likely GOP primary voters, trailing Trump, Carson, Carly Fiorina and Ohio Gov. John Kasich.
