At the Arlington Lamar game and Kofi Boateng drops a would be 85 yard TD pass from Buechele. Shane threw a dime and Kofi had about 5-10 yards separation on the defender and couldn't haul in the pass.

TE Zarrian Holcombe of Humble Summer Creek has de-committed from Texas A&M:

We've been recruiting him, isn't he the teammate of our TE?
Yes, and the staff was on him hard in the spring. I don't know if they'll pursue him again.

You're thinking TE Irvin Smith, who the staff is still recruiting.

I don't see Strong leaving, but I expect people to use this against Texas recruiting-wise. The guy reporting this, Gary Ferman, is the same guy that reported Jon Gruden to Miami back when they signed Al Golden. He has zero credibility, but it has spread pretty wide already.

Inside Texas saying TE Zarrian Holcombe was dropped by the Aggies because of consistent behavioral problems at school.
They don't expect UT to get involved, but they confirmed the staff is still going hard after TE Irvin Smith.
Smith may attend the Kansas game next weekend with his teammate, TE Peyton Aucoin, and he's said he'll definitely take an official to UT with Aucoin.
I wonder if this if his decision was based on better player or keeping promises and trying to keep him happy. I'll go with the second.
I hope they start Murray in Baton Rouge. Our front 7 will eat him alive.
LSU always did the best job of containing Manziel.
I'm guessing it will no different this time even though Chavis is on the other side.
I think it's a combination of both.
I don't think Allen is healthy anyway, but unfortunately for him his A&M career could be over depending on how things go with Murray.
Crazy how much turnover they have at QB. Kenny Trill gets thrown to the wolves, then Allen, and now Murray. All 5 stars. Most QB's need a redshirt year regardless of their high school ranking.
best thing that ever happened to Vince was getting a redshirt. Worst thing was by-passing his senior year.
@ChipBrownHD: #Texas' 15-yr deal w/ Nike totaling nearly $250 mil includes $15 mil contribution from #Longhorns ex Kevin Durant.

I can't read the link but what do they mean by a "$15 mil contribution from Kevin Durant"?
@BDavisAAS: While sitting in traffic, I'm going over Nike deal. Texas gets $20 million up front, and Nike will create new Kevin Durant-themed jerseys.
I couldn't read the link either just thought it'd be something interesting to share. Input from Twitter folks suggest that KD was a big part of negotiations and that all Texas sports will be KD themed beginning in 2016. They will have KD's logo apparently, supposed to be all sports including football. Not sure what of this is true but just what I've read from others.
A link I found regarding the KD, Nike Texas deal. At the bottom of the page is the actual contract papers. http://www.hookem.com/2015/10/30/det...ne-of-apparel/
Thanks, Hookem 88. Here's another article...http://www.texastribune.org/2015/10/...-million-over/
The KD contribution for15 mil is from an annual contribution of 1 mil/year to help fund athletic scholarships...
KD is a one of a kind athlete. I wish he were a Spur. Even if it meant we have to give up KL.

God, I hope not. KD logo on everything?
