Please tell me who you think was better?
It was NOT Alvin Robertson THAT year.
Strong is 0-11 when the opponent scores first?

I remember watching ESPN back in 1988, the year we went 21-61. Berman used a line I will never forget. He said, "You know the Spurs are having a off year when their best player is nicknamed "Brick" (for Frank Brickowski)."
I couldn't stop laughing.
There is a lot of jobs coming open this year.
Hawaii just fired Norm Chow.
Worth a look as offensive coordinator?
Correct. Some other stats:
-third time this season Texas has been held scoreless at halftime. All games were on the road (ND, TCU and ISU).
-Texas has been outscored 112-10 in three road losses.
-Texas finished with 85 yards passing against ISU. Fourth game in a row where they have had less than 100 yards passing.
I would think the next OC has strong Texas ties and/or is familiar with the conference.
Scipio at Barking Carnival breaks down the offense against ISU:

LB Jordan Carmouche of Manvel committed to Arkansas last night:

What about Mike Jinks.....former QB for Converse Judson in the late 80s, HC of Cibolo Steele, took them to two State Championship games, winning 1.....and now on the coaching staff at TT.
Rumor mill around certain boards tonight is Strong is out at the end of the year.
The quick sideline throws were horrible. And yep, Heard should have had 3 interceptions. It's harder to watch the receiving routes on TV so I don't doubt they were bad. I thought Norvell did a good job with using basic stuff against OU. I expected some confidence and more refinement. We went perfectly BACKWARDS. It's very disappointing.
Tom Herman could be looked upon as replacement if Strong is gone.

No, we aren't. Only one person is.
Keep thinking that.
Eh maybe
I think he'd be a solid hire for the horns
2017 DE Robert Beal of Norcross, GA has committed to Notre Dame:

Its as much on him. Their game plan is predictable and the players had no energy. That is on him. I still think he deserves at least one more year, but can he turn it around with 3-4 new coaches? Only time will tell.
it's tough to put a lot of it on Charlie since he was a bit hog tied by Patterson
I think he does need to revamp the the whole thing, starting with O and D coordinators. It's pretty obvious they suck.
