Its as much on him. Their game plan is predictable and the players had no energy. That is on him. I still think he deserves at least one more year, but can he turn it around with 3-4 new coaches? Only time will tell.
I don't know why people think this tweet means he doesn't think he shares the blame. He can be mad at himself and others at the same time.

Tom Herman could be looked upon as replacement if Strong is gone.
That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. If you're paying for this info, I feel sorry for you brah.

It's not on a pay site. Btw, it is well known Herman wants to be at Texas.

Why the would they hire a guy who's been a head coach for all of 6 games?

I think more and more that Strong will jump to Miami if they offered.

If that happened, Texas should go hard at all these guys.

    1. Mark DeAntonio
    2. Kyle Whittingham
    3. Dabo Swinney
    4. Kliff Kingsbury
    5. David Cutcliffe
    6. John Harbaugh
    7. John Gruden
    8. Sean Payton

That would be my starting list.

How many of those 6 games are losses?

Not only does Herman have U of H on the national scene in his first year (undefeated, will be ranked in the top 15 soon, after the last few years the school being a joke", he is keeping a lot of Houston's good players in Houston. Selling then on playing at a commuter school, in third ward, with a football program with a lack of overall success in the past. That program was in the ing dumps the last few years. He has revived them.

He coaches at UH. Let not act like he's running a powerhouse. This Tom Herman has got to stop. There are about 30 coaches who will get a call before they get that desperate. Charlie Strong's pedigree is infinitely better and he got the coordinator diss from Red.

Sounds familiar. Like a certain coach from Louisville we hired. Except that dude had actually been there for four years and had, you know, won tough games and BCS bowls. Lol Herman. Y'all have gone full re .

First off I'm a BIG fan of CFS! But there is now, really serious smoke going on. I think he gets another year, depending on how he finishes. But I guarantee you, offensive staff changes will happen. More than a new OC. I also heard that not letting Mack go sooner was a learning lesson and that many BMD's know that if the ship isn't righted soon on the field(4 games)..... He's gone.

The only smoke is coming from sites who manufacture rumors to get subs.

You are right, no argument there. But, when it's on dam near every site, it at least raises an eyebrow. I think CFS will be fine DEpending on how the year ends. But, you can't lay a dam goose egg like he just did and expect not to see the smoke!

So Texas fires their coach that they took a chance on that had no powerhouse program head coaching experience to take a chance on another coach that has no powerhouse program head coaching experience.

    Seems legit.
