I don't think he is use to so much ball handling. He came into the league with little-to-no perimeter game so it's sort-of new to him. The turnovers will get better, but the assists don't need to go up(to me). He just needs to be a more willing passer, and, as he gets use to handling more, his decision making will get better.

Is it 2015 and someone is still ing about Parker's assists? Learn the spurs offense plz or go back to 2009 when this debate was fresh.
Also keep your fantasy trades out of these threads. No one is taking Parker unless the spurs take a bad contact back.

In David Robinson's rookie year, his AST/TO ratio was .64 for the entire season. In his last year (remember the '03 Championship?) his AST/TO was .73. For his entire career, Robinson's AST/TO was only above 1.0 four times in 14 seasons.
I don't think AST/TO means what you think it means, if you're trying to apply it to F's and C's.

I like his new role, only problem I have with it is that it stalls the offense, but if he's making his shots I won't complain.
Cam making plays and his team letting him down. Kind of like when Tony gets Kawhi all the open shots he wants, just to clank them
Kawhi was playing a more traditional Spurs wing role in his first four years, corner three point spot-up shooter, occasionally some fast break dunk...until the last months of the season when Pop wanted Kawhi to increase his role on offense.
Pop said Kawhi shouldn't defer anymore and look for his own shot to improve his game. Kawhi's just doing what Pop asked him.
