I have NBA league pass and they don't show any of the playoff games on league pass. A couple of the 1st round games have been on the NBA tv channel.
For years I have just been watching the NBA on a Thursday and a Saturday, yep just 2 games a week and if you're lucky you'd see 2 Spurs games per month. I am in Australia and use satellite TV Foxtel. I couldn't care less about other sports so today I cancelled the Sports package on my Foxtel TV and signed up for the 'San Antonio Spurs Regular season pass' which I am thrilled about. I get to watch 82 spurs games on either my mobile, tablet or laptap? yes!
I know I only get to watch the Spurs on this pass but quite often when I watch other teams like the Rockets on Foxtel i'm bored out of my brain an end up changing channels anyway so i'm happy that I won't be watching a Spur-less game this year and will have the pleasure of watching all Spurs games.
My question for Spurs-talkers who are subscribed to the San Antonio Spurs Regular season team pass. What happens when the playoffs roll around? Do you have to upgrade your subscription or do they continue to show all series the Spurs are in?

The NBA Premium pass is $389.00 AUD
I bought the Spurs team package for $169.99
So when the payoffs roll around what happens then? Does another Spurs package become available so I can watch the Spurs play in the playoffs and does anyone know how much extra that'd be? Or even though it says 'regular season team pass' does it just continue on?
If anyone has just the spurs package or any of the upgraded packages and used this in previous seasons please let me know what happens when the playoffs are here and if/how much extra it'd be.
I'm so happy to be able to watch all Spurs regular season games this year! First time i have ever signed up. I was just so sick of the Foxtel Sports package in Australia that only has 2 NBA games per week and it's hardly ever the Spurs and costs $25 per month extra! 8 months of mostly non-spurs basketball for $200, no thanks, I am happy to have signed on for the Spurs Team Pass and for less! I just need clarification on the playoff and hopefully finals situation. Does it continue on? Cost more? Cost more each series? What's the story? Thanks fellow Spurstalkers. Here's to hopefully a great season ahead.

the only real issue here is the first round of the playoffs. You might miss a game or two because o NBATV if you don't have it, but i know for the most part most first round games are available Nationwide even for just basic cable packages. 2nd round to Finals are all available on national TV. They're available on the most basic tv packages here up north.

yeah it's about the same. As long as your cable package has abc, ESPN, TNT, and nbatv you can get all of the playoff games.
He's in Australia though so all the playoffs are on LP as there's no black outs and what not.
Its a good question you ask, I'll predict it doesn't cover playoffs and you'll need to get a playoff package.
Just send LP an email and find out.
Op, use a vpn or proxy to put you in india or Argentina to lower your price. Aus dollars is just crazy high.

I bought full package, because there was a statement that team pass does not include playoffs. If you`re buying Lakers, so this might make sense. Will not work with Spurs

I got Team pass myself. For the last 4yrs I've had league pass an never watched anyone but the Spurs anyways. An nothing includes the playoffs.
