Everyone had a ty game. Just put this behind us and move on. Just one of those games.

Not everybody was bad - mostly just wildly inconsistent. Some good, some VERY bad. But Manu was generally good, Butler was surprisingly good, playing himself into more minutes. And Kyle was good in short minutes.

It's not all bad, tbh... despite all the mistakes we had a solid shot at this game... Kiwi missed a couple shots, LMA missed an open jumper too...

I kept thinking like that last season, and these are games that you are supposed to win if you want the #2 seed.

yeah that was just weird too. If Pop told them to switch then that's on Aldridge for forgetting it a split-second. If Pop didn't, then that was a good contest. Needed to close out hard else Beal would have just stepped into a 2 pointer.

Also so damn disappointed with Aldridge. Guy can't make mid range shots and looks completely lost in offense and defense.

West also is a liability, he can't defend anyone at the post.

I can't think about seed this season when we're working so many new guys, and even reordering roles of old guys... we need to make a lot of progress before we get there...

This season really has no comparison with last, where we brought back basically the same team that won it all...

It's early November... as I said, we'll know much more by the AS break

Someone actually posted about that in the comment section of that Yahoo article about Kawhi's defense the other day. I knew it was a weakness of his, but I was hoping that he'd improve guarding quicker players this season. I thought he may have turned the corner on that. I guess I was wrong. Crazy that he got burned by it 1 day later.

Really hard to think of 6 if we don't get atleast the 3 seed. That's just me. We can hype them all we want when they get it together but when their seed is ed up again, I don't see a championship happening.

I don't understand why these guys never played a lot more minutes together in the preseason. When you have a team this new, why wouldn't you play these guys together more in the preseason?

fair question, not sure, honestly though preseason still wouldn't have fixed things since people aren't playing as hard. it's going to be a rough process for awhile. Pop has never had this many new personalities and egos to work into the mix.
