Fair enough.![]()
With such a crappy start to the 1st quarter and the 20 turnovers the Spurs were lucky to have had such a close game in the end last night.
Fair enough.![]()
I see and agree![]()
Did everyone here not watch Splitter at all last year? I miss 2013-14 Tiago, but I sure as don't miss 2014-15 Tiago.
I tried telling people he was the straw that stirred the drink on D. Kiwi gets lost on screen instead![]()
Nope, don't miss him at all. Good riddance, tbh. He was an injury-prone, unreliable, weak finisher at the rim. What he provided on defense when healthy was fantastic but that was too seldom.
Do you miss the present Tiago? His plus/minus in Atlanta is not bad no? This is not last season.
The issue now is gy Green shooting 15% & turning the ball over.
Right now, Tiago is probably huddled in a hotel room somewhere, writhing in agonizing pain of a bruised right forearm. Out 3-6 weeks...maybe, we'll see, that is, if the cartilage surrounding the 4th rib on his left side is healed from the mysterious lack of blood cells oxygenating it.
This. There was a really small window in which Duncan and Tiago could play together and it's closed. Now had Duncan retired everything could have been different with Splitter, but that didn't happen.
Oh, so you're one of those folks that thinks calling people stupid names is funny. Okay.
Yes, I'm a adult who refuses to grow up b/c it's fun. What so serious & PC on a message board no less![]()
Sacrificing Splitter to get LMA was a good decision for this season and the next 4 years... I liked Tiago (as well as George Hill), but I'd say RC & Pop ultimately made the right moves in both situations.
Availability is the best ability but ter was always in the training room nursing his vagina
Pss he was soft as , good guy sure but he wasnt the answer to our prays.
Splitter was injury prone but minus last year he was healthy in the postseason. Some in here are over exaggerating.
I hope boban progresses enough so by the end of the season we can use him. I think he fits what we need
We had to let him go but I'm glad he's playing in the same system and has no worries about fitting in with his new team.
Same here.
don't miss him at all... this team just has a higher ceiling with the new guys
Even without the Parker extension, it would have been very hard to keep Tiago. Perhaps you're thinking CoJo cap hold + Tiago's salary is about what Parker's was, and could have gotten Aldridge done with that amount?
Once extension was signed though, nothing that could be done.
Once LMA is more comfortable in the system, no one will miss Tiago. I am already loving Aldridge's rebounding! Cannot wait to see him in a couple months!
^^^^^^He played last year? Agreed.
