Parker was in his prime when baby Rose destroyed him just like Westbrook abuses him nowadays.
uh so an 8 game sample is determinative? News flash, their careers don't match up. PArker 2004-2015 Rose 2008 - 2015 * sat out 2 yrs like a ing loser
oh and....
Parker 4 Rose 0
Parker was in his prime when baby Rose destroyed him just like Westbrook abuses him nowadays.
This. Rose could be an elite role player/3rd option but he is still trying to get back to his MVP level, which is unfortunately not possible.
Parker on the other hand, although a "worse" (for lack of a better word) player than Rose, has accepted a smaller role.
Also, Parker's contract > Rose's contract.
I think its a trade that Chicago might want to do, but I dont see the Spurs giving it any thought really due to loyalty to Parker and his corporate knowledge that no other player could learn or ever know. If Pop had the chance to coach Rose on the Spurs, and Rose actually wanted to be coached by Pop. Game Over for the rest of the league.
I would seriously consider it if it were on the table. The salaries might be too far off though?
Roses knee is on the DWade track with the multiple surgeries already.
Is this a damn cucking thread or what ? Useless discussion.
Now, you bring things like Trey Burke or LaVine for Parker trade discussion to the table - If you are really bent for Parker banishment one way or another, then we can go somewhere, at least.
Wishing Rose to become a better human being or at least a better winner is the same as wishing for a unicorn, lol.![]()
haha u mother ers will be ing Rose never pass to Kawhi..
I personally think Lillard would make a better fit than Rose but thats just a pipedream.
but tp according to you has the worse nba contract
Rose was playing w/ a fractured orbital, face mask & blurred vision. Porker was playing w/ a pot belly & double chin. Porker got outplayed by Dion Butters meanwhile Rose outplayed Westbrook.
Could you imagine Aldridge's face if we signed Lillard![]()
he is talking about his contract said it was worse in the nba
I'd definitely kick the tires in two years when his contract is up.
Is he? Parker did not even look like a good Spurs role player this year when playing for France. We have no idea based on the current sample size.
I'm wondering if they will buy him out next season if they can't trade him just like Nets did w/ Deron Williams but refused to buyout Joe Johnson b/c they still think he has trade value. They did buyout Boozer when they couldn't trade him but that was via the amnesty clause.
Rose got his contract after he won the MVP, Porker's extension kicked in after the worst season of his career.
They're both bad contracts. Rose is owed $40 million over the next two years while TP will make $45 million over the next three. At least the Bulls can be free and clear of their cancer after only two seasons. Spurs will still be stuck with TP for an extra year.
On topic, my preference would be neither. They're both terrible players that are a poor fit for any contender in the modern NBA. At least Rose has the injury excuse on his side but he was never particularly intelligent before he blew out his knees either. And his MVP award was a sham(just like Parker's Finals MVP was a joke). As far as head to head, I remember Rose ting on Parker nearly every time they played one another when both were in their "primes". Just a really bad matchup for TP as far I recall.
If I was forced to choose one, it'd have to be TP. Current Rose is just awful to watch and one of the mains reasons why Chicago struggles on offense.
If Rose's body had not broken down, he'd be in the top 10 all time point guard discussions. He was physically imposing to guards like LeBron to 3s and Shaq to 5s. Alas, even if he is better than Parker this year (it's too early to tell with either player) Rose is too much of an injury concern to ever trust, esp at his price tag. Parker has also had nagging injuries, but that's expected at his age and he plays through them. And if people here complain about how much Parker makes, just image Rose.
Delusional.
Isn't rose due for his yearly season ending injury????
2013 says o, got.
