GSW going for 70 wins this season
Seems like Bonner would have to be waived along w/ Simmons since the Spurs are over the cap & McLemore's salary is double that of Kyle's: http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=o9575zl
I wouldn't mind entertaining the trade next season when the cap goes up.
Doesn't matter if they win 70 or 80 but they are going to end up w/ the #1 seed.
How?>>>Fournette---Schmournette.
Brook Lopez w/ a sore right foot: His career is toast.
I was wondering if Ben was ever going to amount to anything. In SA he will.
Marcus thornton might very well be houston best summer.pick up
It's a pretty random addition..it's not like he's young or never received a chance elsewhere..
At this point, I hope we just keep losing to get Doc fired. He is Vinny-level bad at this point.
I honestly didnt even know they got him till opening night.
If this lawson thing fails, at least they got thornton
He's one of those guys that could get buckets but wouldn't stick on a team b/c he puts ZERO effort when it comes to playing defense ala Nick Young. He also used to clash w/ coaches & is always out of shape. He makes JR Smith seem like a coaches dream. Otherwise, he was a better scorer than Harden when he came into the league.
Harden/Lawson/Thornton might be the worst defensive guard rotation in the league. They could use Thornton kind of like how the Warriors use Barbosa by giving him spot minutes otherwise Harden/Thornton/Lawson on the floor together in the postseason![]()
Deandre losing to clint capela in a free throw contest![]()
Thanks to Dic Rivers
Yeah for sure.
I just think thornton would be a deadly weapon of the bench if used properly.
Oh, I know, I was a fan of his in New Orleans earlier in his career..
I just think it's really random that the Rockets have decided to use him as a starter, all of a sudden, considering we know enough about him as a player in the NBA..
Folks were complaining about the brickfest in last years series.
Blake
They don't have a starting PF b/c T-Jones/D-Mo are both injured so they decided to play small-ball since Lance is the Clippers starting SF & Ariza also proved he can guard Blake w/ help in last season postseason series.
This is the same team that picked up Josh Smith off waivers & made him their starting centerwhen Dwight/D-Mo/T-Jones were out w/ injury.
True, but wasn't he starting even before this game?
I forgot about Jones/Montejunas, though..
So what's going on? Turned my attention to college football after the Spurs game.
I somehow managed to get Blake in the 3rd round in my fantasy league..
