Yep, it's 5-1 Raiders ATS vs the Steelers. There is nothing that has the Steelers covering in this "spot".

But, if we are tallking SU, how often have the Steelers lost three in a row under Tomlin? Since 2010 that's only happened twice, so it's rare. We have to go back to 2011 to find the last time the Raiders won three in a row.

Steelers will win this one if Big Ben plays the entire game.

After watching the Pats, it got me thinking about teams that rely on white receivers mostly. Won't go way back to the days of Speedie/Levelli, "Crazy Legs" Hirsh and Tom Fears, I'll start in the 60's.

- Newton has a 105 QBR in the fourth quarter this year, and has thrown zero interceptions. I'd argue that's a big reason why we pulled that game out in Seattle.

- Last year the game was played in Lambeau. We also have zero players in our secondary that played that game last year. Two were cut the day after that game, Josh Norman was injured.

- The Packers have given up 500 yards of offense the past two games, and had a bye in-between. They have struggled to stop the run. Carolina is first in the run this year. Carolina is fourth in scoring.

- Rodgers has struggled against good defenses that get pressure on the QB. He doesn't usually win those games, especially on the road. Carolina has won their last 11 regular season games. Kawann Short has 5 sacks in the last three games. Jared Allen has 3.

Looking at our schedule I'm trying to find our first loss. If Romo returns, I think that could be it. We've played some tough games, but they were at home fortunately. We are a very solid road team, I just hope they don't overlook opponents. Mariota is pretty accurate.

I think we finish realistically at 13-3/14-2 this year or 12-4 at worst. The only games I can see us losing are cowboys, @Saints, @Falcons, Giants - mostly on the fact that they're road games, and divisional rivals are always tough. I think we lose to one of the divisional and against either Dallas or NY.

As you've all noticed I need time before formulating an opinion, no game to game here, that's what rookies do.

It is time to give Cam Newton some props. He's having a great season ...so far. Which goes with my...give things some time....song n' dance.

People forget there was a time when the belief was it takes about 4-5 years for an NFL QB to get it. Then here came Big Ben, Peyton Manning, etc. Well with some it does take longer, I think we are seeing that with Newton and he's doing it without Benjamin, imagine if he were there.

No I don't see the Panthers playing in the 2015 SB, but with Benjamin back in 2016, maybe a stud free agent or some rookie.....hmmm?

Miami in a third road game, not a good "spot" for anyone.
