I do hate me some Fish. Not just for .4, but also because he's a garbage human being.

I also disliked him way before .4. I actually ended up disliking him during a regular season game back in the spring of '98 Bulls vs Lakers. At that time Scott Burrell who was the bulls backup SG/SF had fouled Fisher but it wasn't a dirty foul. I think Fisher fell to the ground and Burrell tried to help him up but Fisher lost his temper and ended up trying to fight with him. At that time I was thinking who does this scrub think he is to act like this. They are several things about him that are just hate able I would say that he's a con artist, lackey, and has a sense of en lement. As a player I had no respect for his game he was a horrible defender and if the refs didn't call his flopping he wouldn't have been able to last a whole entire season. Offensively he was very 1 dimensional that he had to be wide open to hit shots. He benefited greatly from being drafted by the Lakers if some other team like Milwaukee drafted him he would have had a very short career.

Absolutely, every Spurs fan who had to endure the 90s and hasn't lost his/her memory would think this way.

Surely the poll results reflect more on the age of the posters.

I thought it was only the latter ... I (Basketball fan in the 90s, not yet a Spurs fan) liked Stockton and Malone because they seemed the ultimate pros. Looking at the pictures it becomes understandable that Malone gets hate from Spurs fans.

Cannot blame Stockton though for anything else than beating the Spurs it seems ...
