Some of these awful takes have to be alts...
I think they go the distance with los Pelicans for the 8th seed. 51-31
I dunno, could be younger bball fans. People on /r/nba are attempting to tell me how it's more important to be good on offense than defense to win in the playoffs. I just ask them when they expect to graduate high school.![]()
The Clippers were leading midway through the 4th quarter before Curry checked in nailed a couple of ridiculous shots. If Curry was on the bench in the 4th quarter like their usual home games then they would have lost the game by double digits. They can blowout the Grizz & Pelicans on the road without Curry playing in the 4th quarter but against the big boys they are going to need Curry to keep hitting ridiculous shots even at home unless Klay wakes up.
Just look at last year postseason series, he had his way against the Pelicans/Rockets & struggled against the Grizz/Cavs. It wasn't random, it had to do w/ the quality of defense he faced.

So you're saying.... if the Dubs starters don't play... they might lose.
K.
So they can blowout playoff teams (Pelicans/Grizz) on the road without Curry playing a second but they need him to bail them out at home against the Clippers. The rest of the starter were losing the game b/c Klay/Draymond couldn't hit the side of the barn w/o Curry spoon feeding them but yet you keep asserting they will beat teams by 15 when Curry regresses. Harrison Barnes all of a sudden scored 10 straight point when Curry checked in b/c the defense was so worried about #30 pulling up from 40ft. When he isn't hitting those shots at a 50% clip then defense aren't going to cheat as much as they are being forced to so now.

Didn't the Spurs do the same when they ended the season like 20 and 0 a while back? They were also winning games by halftime. That didn't tunr out too good for them.
I'm just saying, build the streak to where it would definitely be impressive. Any team can win 10 in a row. We've seen it countless times over the years.
It turned out ok for them. They made it to the WCF and lost in 6 games. I wouldn't say that winning convincingly is a bad omen. We can find instances of lottery winners being murdered or committing suicide (Lakers notwithstanding), but that doesn't mean it's bad to win the lottery.
I'll let a few here in on what's really happening right now, under the radar: With Kerr out but still calling the shots, sort of, Luke is playing Mark Jackson ball. He's allowing Curry to be the focal point on the offense, and Curry is up to the task. The problem with that is Kerr worked hard to get a balanced scoring and assists system where Steph becomes more conscious of his shot selection, and where the team moves the ball very well. With Curry taking the offensive load on shoulders, they've regressed to pre-Kerr days where a bad night for Steph means a loss for the Warriors. I think it will balance out because Kerr might be injured but he's not dead. Still, that's what's happening, and it's cleverly disguised as amazing basketball. We've seen this before, like for a few years prior to last year.
"Despite all the blowouts Golden State has racked up during its franchise-best 10-0 start—and all the glittery stats behind those efforts—the Warriors have been about as dependent on Curry as they were Thursday night. According to NBA.com, they've outscored the opposition by 153 points in Curry's 353 minutes, and by just 18 points in the 137 minutes he's spent on the pine."
Obviously that's misleading, since he spends most of the game on the floor so most of the lead is going to come during most of the game. However, he's scoring more points per game this season thus far than he ever has, and Klay Thompson has regressed to 2014 levels, almost a 9 point drop in PPG. Also, Steph is about 2 or so APG lower than last season.
Yeah a win is a win, but we all know the difference between being damn good and being unstoppable.

Not sure because Green does not fit i heard...
Watch your karma son. You got 3 starters over 30.
I can't wait to see them play the Clipps in the playoffs tbh.
I'm not worried bruv, I know you got our back.
I'm betting they go 70-12.
^your sig![]()
The Dubs will pound them tbh. Right now I only see the Spurs pushing them to maybe 6 or 7 games. They are playing at an historic level.
Clips don't stand a chance especially with their yapping game. The Dubs are playing with a chip on their shoulder despite winning the le last year to prove last season was no fluke.
Guess who at the forefront of the -talking? Tom Rivers and the Clips
