Alternatively, use Kellen Moore, but he's kind of short for a pocket passing QB so not really someone you want as your franchise quarterback. Alternatively, trade a late or well-in-the-future draft pick for a young QB with talent, preferably one backing up an elite QB. I really like the Patriots' Garappolo. But anyways... season is over so it's best to mail it in and let the current elite franchise QB continue to recover and prime himself for a 2016 Super Bowl run. Let the O-Line work hard to recover what it has lost from having a largely subpar 2015 season. Start Christine Michael, sign a third-rate RB short-term, and get Darren McFadden ready to play a 2014 DeMarco Murray role in 2016. Re-up Hardy, that's a must. Re-up McClain, he's crucial to have when Lee's on the field... speaking of Lee, he shouldn't see many snaps for the remainder of this season. Let Claiborne walk, he's useless. Byron Jones is already great and will be elite next year. If backup guard Leary is cheap, retain him, and try to keep Dunbar if the price is right. Draft heavy in the D-secondary, draft a good WR, and perhaps a backup QB with raw potential and height late in the draft. Retain those that aren't expendable; many of the expendable will walk and others we will keep on minimum-level contracts. Heath almost saved his NFL career today -- and then he ed it back over with the game-losing holding penalty.

Ultimately, we didn't expect to lose ALL 7 games without Romo (I expected 4–3 at worst, losing only games to the Patriots, Falcons, and one of the division games) but it happened, so the next best thing is to let the Giants beat the Patriots again in SB-50 and go all in to win it in 2016. The team is stacked and it is truly a shame that injuries quashed this season before it had a chance to start, but maybe it was the Giants' turn for the stars to align, given that it's a 4th year and all.

I got a job offer in Westlake, TX with Fidelity for $68,000 as an IT Mainframe developer beginning May 2016, so I may have the opportunity to stay in TX in 2016-17; however, I have another job offer in Cambridge, MA with IBM for $92,000 as an IT Specialist, also beginning in May. Which one should I take?

It was blessing in disguise alright. Now we get to tank and draft Romo's replacement.

we still have 2 more years with Romo, at least, before he potentially falls off like Peyton. Drafting Romo's replacement, however, isn't a top priority, since the goal remains to win a SB with Romo. Draft a very good WR but most importantly, secondary defenders that can hold their own for a change so Hardy, Gregory, Lawrence, Crawford and the rest can actually get to the quarterback. That's been the main issue for the Cowboys outside of the obvious offensive woes; the D can't stop the passing game for . If it wasn't for a ton of Tampa Bay drops today, the Bucs would have gone Buc-Wild on the scoreboard. I love Byron Jones but he can't do it all himself. Carr is terrible and Church regularly gets burned as well. Claiborne is useless and the Heath/Wilcox combination haven't been working. Heath literally cost us the game today. I'm so fed up with this soft secondary -- we need guys that can actually cover their man for a change.

It's not quite as big of a difference as you think when you adjust for rent costs and state income taxes, tbh.

You can find a one-bed/studio apartment around here for $530/month or $6,360 per year

The cheapest I found in that area within 10 miles of that workplace is $2,280/month or $27,360 per year

Then you have state income taxes, which are going to be pretty stiff for a good salary like that in a liberal state.

If Romo comes back and they beat the Panthers but not the Packers I'll be pissed.

I'm not going to get into where you should live or what job you should take tbh...

I just thought it was kinda awkward reading all this stuff about who the Cowboys should start at QB, who they should take in the draft, and how you hope the Giants can take out the Pats again.

Then you end it all with a "What job should I take?" paragraph.

It's very relevant, because this is my last year of relative innocence (college), and there is significant question about whether or not I'll be in Texas or not and able to view Cowboys games. If I'm completely elsewhere it might behoove me to support a different team because I'm a huge homer and prefer to be surrounded by like-minded people in public when it comes to sports.
