'Cause who gives a about points?
Tony with 7 assists, 0 tov, 3 steals good, best +/- of the starters
Lollard with 6 assists, 3 tov, 1 steal, worst +/- of the starters

'Cause who gives a about points?
exactly
I loved the switch Pop did with Kawhi on Lillard and Tony on McCallum... and this is no slight to Tony as McCallum is a beast on his own, but he has much more problems creating off the dribble...
The whole team defense last night was phenomenal, tbh
To be fair, Lollard got 3/4ths of his points on Patty tbh
This tbh,Tony's not that bad on D when he's up against guys who are shooters but are not that good or fast at creating off the dribble
And he's playing fairly well overall this season,he looks way better than what he did last season and also at Eurobasket this summer
Thought Parker actually played some surprisingly good defense down the stretch last night
No one actually thinks Tony played better than lillard right? Player fans.![]()
Loved the D. He looked very engaged![]()
Lillard was jacking up shots most of the game. It wasn't until the 3rd where he started hitting his shots. But for 3 quarters he was turning the ball over, holding on the ball too long in the shot clock and bricking his shots. He basically played how Parker played late last year.

Ah, the old, "I didn't watch the game last night so let me make stuff up" post
How did he play better than him exactly?
He hates Lillard
in all honesty you could make a case on last game tbh... Parker's defense was better than lollard, only thing lollard did ok was shooting the ball, he was careless with the ball and globally was a net negative for his team
Reminds me of someone
Lefty with no regard.
I actually don't think Lillard had that great a game. Don't forget he played for 42 minutes. Parker only 27 1/2, yet same number of assists with no turnovers vs 3. OP actually does make a decent point. Lillard scored more but Parker passed much better and his team didn't get on on D when he was on there. Lillard merely shot the ball 140% more than Parker did to get those extra points he got. So he scored slightly better than Parker in terms of efficiency at the cost of mediocre passing efficiency and not creating as much for his teammates. Whereas Parker didn't chuck and passed/created very well.
I wouldn't say he definitely played better, but there IS an argument when you look at overall efficiency and extrapolate for the minutes played difference.
Parker played the way he should be playing tbh. Low double digit scoring and focusing on passing.
Jesus christ are we really going to compare a 5th option to a 1st option? Rique had like 4 pts going into the 4th Qtr. This is worse than when Rique s would compare him to CP3 when he was a third option.
I like when Pop can afford to keep his Kawhi "card" on the best player for the money time...
A 'star' shooting under 50 percent is what a team wants.
