Still one of the craziest stories in recent league history, tbh..only time you'll ever hear of an athletic 7-footer falling out of the sky..

Seriously. I can't really think of anyone like this that teams missed on this badly?? It's crazy. I mean how can everyone be wrong - I thought it might be fluky last year. I understand he has an at ude problem but he's flat out dominating.

well, he was a great shotblocker and rebounder from the start, but couldn't stop fouling so he didn't get minutes. It's not like he was unkown..

Huh? He was playing in Lebanon and couldn't even get training camp invites just 2 years ago..it's literally unheard of in NBA history..you can find a lot of guards and forwards that came out of nowhere to become productive NBA players, but the 7-footer in basketball is always a prized commodity, even in today's league..

He isn't even just a productive player, too, he's an All-Star..

he was called a boom or bust pick pick like thabeet during the draft. Obviously sacramento did not think much of him at the time and i doubt anyone even checked on him.

nba is over the block and rebounds as a measure for D mentality. It's all about defensive rating and some numbers to justify them..

The East has improved in the middle and bottom...a lot of scrappy teams out there..they won't beat the Cavs in playoff but they will take more games off them in reg season and or a random series...
