Spurs will struggle new o with starters 40 games or so
Tomorrow will be a reall test too.
Still early though but the league did the spurs a solid with this easy start.

Mental test. Very hard to get up against a struggling 1-11 team. I'm not making excuses for them though. Pros should be able to play hard very night no matter the opponent.
The Spurs aren't going to win a championship with Kiwi as the first option.
Not just a game, it was the difference between a 2nd and a 6th seed and they played like bums just like they did that time.

If you remember 2013-14, the spurs consistently lost the "test games" while consistently winning all others throughout the regular season.

Yes we did. Actually, 9-3 win-losses its a pretty darn good record. Approx 61-21 (62-20 in 13-14). This year (as last) GSW is setting the bar too high. Nobody is catching up to them barring some injuries. So Spurs just need to stay afloat and grab that 2nd seed.
If anything, Spurs need to adjust their game to beat the Warriors. Spurs can beat other teams with minor adjustments, but the big problem is GSW small ball with Curry, Igoudala, Thompson, Barnes and Green.
The only good matchup is Manu, Green, Leonard, Diaw and Aldridge. Unfortunately Aldridge loos out of shape and seems to lost a lot of quickness!
The alternative option is Manu, Green, Butler, Leonard and Diaw... but that's like a poor man's GSW.
Spurs went beast mode in the playoffs though. The 2014 team was able to overcome Tony's shortcomings due to great overall play of the rest of the team. I don't see that happening this year with two choke artists on the team(LMA and Tony Parker)

We have their number because Diaw just destroys Green. I am not sure how well LMA has done against the Warriors. Also our best defenders happen to mark up well with Curry and Thompson.
