I don't post much but this cuck GreatYacht needs to educate himself.

Kindly remind us of where the Spurs were prior to Kawhi's arrival? How did we do in 2010 and 2011? Ah, right, MVParker led us to 8.

Kawhi has done more in 3 years than Parker has done in a career. Not a knock on Parker, just a testament to Kawhi's greatness in his early years. Kawhi is a top 7 player in the NBA, which is something Parker arguably reached for one season of his career...

There's a reason Pop called him the face of the Franchise when we got him. If you give all NBA GMs a pick of a prime Parker or a prime Kawhi (or , even the Kawhi of this season), all of them would pick Kawhi.

Just curious - did you also know that the Spurs' DRtg is the third best in franchise history?

And the biggest reason their ORtg is so low? Because their FTRate (FTA/FGA) is the lowest in franchise history - by a pretty good margin. Some of that is on Kawhi, but most of it isn't.

It's probably worth noting that their EFG% is 10th highest in franchise history, and their opponents EFG% is the 10th lowest in franchise history. This group has a lot of room for improvement, but head-banging over the horrors of a "Kawhi-centered offense"? Go get some Midol.

Kawhi shot 25% from the college 3PTer at San Diego St. In 5 short years he's become a 44% 3PT shooter in the NBA. Porker still can't shoot after 15 years in the league.

Tells you all you need to know about who puts in work and who doesn't.
Parker's work ethic has always been questionable at best. That fact that he still can't shoot worth a damn after being in the league all these years while being instructed by the best shooting coach in the NBA(Chip) says a lot about how lazy he is. Absolutely shameful what he did last year - Repeat year while being the highest paid player on the team and he gorges himself in the summer instead of training hard to help Duncan and co defend the le.

Kawhi shouldn't be seen as a 44% 3pt shooter just because he was able to shoot that for a small period of time. Unless you saw Tony as a 60+% 3pt shooter last year as well.

there's more going on this season than Kawhi being the biggest cog in the offense.
Never stopped Kawhi player fans from giving all credit in the improvement of the Spurs from 2011 onward.

Here's how the team's offensive efficiency has looked through today's date (Nov. 22) in each of the last 4 seasons:

    2012-2013: 104.6
    2013-2014: 103.9
    2014-2015: 101.6
    This season: 103.6

Here's how it looked at the end of the season:

    2012-2013: 105.9
    2013-2014: 108.2
    2014-2015: 106.2
    This season: ?

It's too early to tell if the Kawhi-centered offense is working or not.

Why not? No reason why he can't at least shoot in the 40s. His stroke looks good and it's obvious he's put in the work. It's not low volume either, he probably already has as many 3s as Rique had all of last season.

outside of the trolls, all spurfans know how good kawhi is.... but his fanboys here are so insecure they keep having to compare him to parker ... yeah quite the bar you're setting there

but but, he's better than one of the worst starters in the NBA last year

I suspect we are going to transition from a 'beautiful game' with an bias toward offense to an older style pound it into the paint with LMA and Kwahi with a bias toward defense. Pop will coach the personnel he has with the skills they have. It will be efficient, but lack the elegance of 2013/2014 and not as much 3 pt shooting as 2 pt. shooting.

We will win, but sometimes like Saturday against the Grizzleys, we will win ugly (for some fans) at a slower paced game.

Maybe because you left out some punctuation.

The only punctuation you need is a dildo up your ass.
