The Warriors are currently BPI favorites in 65 of their 67 remaining games. The only two times they won't be favorites? The two games in San Antonio!![]()
The first of meeting isn't until March 19 -- the Warriors' 69th game of the season. Silver protecting the darlings of the NBA.
FYI: Team Duncan hasn't lost a regular season game to the Warriors since he was drafted!![]()

If any team has a chance to beat the Warriors it would be the Spurs,,,,otherwise we might as well say they will go 82-0,,,,tbh
you should try using models that actually matter
if Golden State is a vegas underdog in any game this season, I'm betting at least 2 grand on them.
The Warriors play the Spurs thrice in a space of one month... Actually, their last four regular season games are weird -- they face the Spurs and the Grizzlies twice.
Makes sense to chase home court advantage now than later. Then their primary focus would be to beat the Spurs and that's it
They lost to the Spurs last season BEFORE and AFTER they clinched the #1 seed. Not to mention the Spurs usually peak around the time those 3 meetings are scheduled thus the Warriors would have had a better chance of winning at the Alamo for the first time in 18 years if they played them RIGHT NOW while LaMarsha is still trying to get his legs under him. I'm going to assume that the Warriors will be chasing the 72 win record thus there is a possibility they might also be close to burning out by March.
Warriors are really good, but i'm confident there is an element in here where they are blowing their load too early..NBA has changed a lot from 1990s; you just can't keep the same intensity wire to wire..peaking at the right time has been proved to count for something in the past decade or so..even the Heat sputtered after that 27 game winning, which was still late in March, and it took Allen miracle 3 to bail them out..
I'm betting they won't get burnt out
You're kinda obsessed with the Warriors losing.
Now if we can get over the NO and Bucks hump....They have our number......
I didn't say they will be burnt out but close to it if they chase the record.
Everyone is obsessed with the Warriors winning.
Yeah, it really is weird. Playoff seeding would most likely be set by that time and teams will be resting players. At this rate, the Warriors already have the top seed locked up so I don't expect Curry/Thompson/Green/Bogut to play those final games... unless they're going for some 82-0 record type of stuff.
Didn't know the Spurs played in the Alamo, tbh..I remember it being pretty dark in there..
