If Les getting fired is 100% done deal, then I hope LSU whips aggsy ass . It would be nice if aggsy LSU and Bama all lost their coaches

That is an incredibly interesting site. The 10 factors they list are things I would have never known about some of those schools.
Great job as always TFloss![]()
Scout reporting Baylor back-up QB, Jarrett Stidham, is out for the season.
Dropping like flies. Wonder who their 4th string QB is?
With Les half way out the Door... of course everyone is talking about who we have a chance to steal from LSU. Dee Anderson has expressed his loyalties to LSU and has said that he hasn't heard much from Texas. Claims he hasn't been paying Texas much attention and that Texas just isn't a good fit. Thornton is also one that Texas would love to have but he is originally from Louisiana and LSU is a hour from his hometown so for now he is solid. Eric Monroe will probably look around but supposedly his interest is in A&M if Les leaves, but if Eric jumps on A&M, that puts us in great position for Brandon Jones.
The best chance we have out of all those committed to LSU would be Erick Fowler. His family loves Texas and still wants him there. With Les leaving, that may give his family the push they needed to swing him our way.
Here is LSU's 2016 247 composite Commit list (#1 overall class)
These are the guys on the Texas offer list that are currently committed to LSU:
4* Dual threat QB Feleipe Franks (from FL)
4* WR Dee Anderson (from DeSoto)
4* TE Jamal Pettigrew (from LA)
4* OG Donavaughn Campbell (from LA)
4* WDE Rahssan Thornton (TX via LA)
3* SDE Caleb Roddy (from LA)
4* DT Glen Logan (from LA)
4* OLB Erick Fowler (from Manor TX)
5* CB Saivion Smith (goes to IMG Academy in FL, not sure where he is from)
5* Safety Eric Monroe (from Houston)
QB Feleipe Frank's decommited yesterday.

Les Miles is done. He is well on his way to Mack Browning/Phil Fulmering LSU, and our administration has decided not to allow him to finish the job. I expect it will be announced a day or two after the A&M game. The new hire and the timing of it will be crucial for our class. Gonna lose some recruits regardless of what happens, but don't see the class falling completely apart unless our AD s up the coaching search ie. still looking for a coach in January.
All in for Jimbo?
FYI DT Jordan Elliott bumped his Michigan official visit up to this weekend instead of December 12th.
He's the top target, no question. I have no clue who we end up with. I do know the AD and boosters are being proactive and getting out in front of this thing, so I expect a new coaching staff will be in place before the dead period. If not, we ed up.
It's meltdown time; Ohio State and LSU.
They included Texas even though there was a bye last week.

Could it be that he:
1. Wants to see good game and
2. Wants to be at Texas on the 12th with everyone else?
My Favorite from a LSU fan having to listen to Verne Lundquist:
YOU VERNE
YOU FAT BISCUIT
Highlights from Higdon's Chat
- Coaching change will definitely have a positive impact on recruiting, especially on the offensive side of the ball
- Sam Ehlinger is so far proving to be the top 2017 QB in the state.
- [On Zach Shackelford's slow 40 time of 5.7 s]
I am not worried about a 40 time for an OL..how many times are they in a foot race 40 yards?
- Moved on from the Devo situation. If he makes it in, great. If not, we'll recruit over him.
- Landing Pettigrew would help our chances with D'Andre Christmas-Giles immensely. Same story with Dontavious Jackson and Chris Brown.
- Feliepe Franks knows some of the Texas coaches, but he is a Florida Gators' lock.
- Still confident Whaley ends up at Texas when all is said and done.
- Whichever ILB(s) we land will see the field immediately in 2016, so Malik can move to OLB as soon as possible. Collin Johnson could also play early, plus a couple of O-linemen.
- Assuming they make their OVs here, Dontavious Jackson and Jeffrey McCulloch should be in on NSD.
- The last five I left off my mock class will make the difference between a "very good" and an "outstanding" class. Strong needs the latter.
- Jordan Elliott will still take his OV to Texas, even if/when he commits to Michigan. Staff remains in hot pursuit.
Already a good chance Erick Fowler ends up at Texas at the end of the day that was before the Les Miles firing talk so chance would go way up imo if Miles leaves...if that deal happens it would open up lots of things that could really shake things up...but they could also get a big time coach and secure everyone they currently have and then some
- Sterlin Gilbert will not be considered for the OC opening. Eastern Illinois, Bowling Green and Tulsa -- not saying he won't be great one day but not yet ready for Texas.
- There is a top recruit who is currently committed elsewhere but has told the Texas staff he is coming and is actively recruiting others.
Texas needs to grab some safety players no question....DB--Safety, OL, QB, RB TE WR DL all HUGE needs..they won't go perfect filling voids at every single position..the trick is filling as many voids as possible...Elliott could also be that guy imo no question
- Note: Higdon is absolutely refusing to talk about Sonny $#@!bie, which is weird considering he's freely talking about other OC candidates. Keeps changing the subject whenever his name is brought up.
- Our chances with DT Stephon Taylor have dwindled to very very slight... not even sure Texas can get him in for an OV at this point.
- We'll take only one of WR Stephen Sullivan and/or ATH Lil'Jordan Humphrey.
- Still think Kelvin Lucky will take an OV here. He doesn't have the same infatuation with Alabama other in-state kids have.
- Staff believes CB Obi Eboh is still solid.
- S Brandon Jones will visit Texas again. A&M is still the biggest threat.
- [On S Devin Studsill]
Been blowing up for a while really good player and we will see if he visits
Explain to me why Jimbo would make that move. I'm not saying LSU isn't an incredible job (it is) but so is Florida State and he has a much easier road to the playoff in the ACC. It's the definition of a lateral move.
