UFA next year. Could be a decent third big. Him and West in the bench..Bobo and LMA...

    Assuming Timmy retires.

I always felt like he'd end up playing for us, so yeah I'm for it. I think he'd try harder for us than for any other team in the league other than the Pacers pre-trade.

I think he can still be a decent 5-10 minute guy. He had lockeroom problems in indiana because george ednhis wife...obviously right now hes playing for the lakers.

Hibbert, imo would be a nice situational players.

Starting a thread for a 5-10 minute guy this far out seems strange.

5-10 minutes would be Boban status. Robin Lopez got paid so I'm pretty sure there is a team out there that would pay him 10 mill. The Wizards could use him when Nene becomes a free agent (he went to Georgetown so that's right up his alley). Miami if Whiteside bails, the Hornets if Big Al doesn't re-sign, Bulls since Noah/Pau are free agents, Warriors if Ezeli gets a max offer. Cavs can only offer the minimum but they might lose Mozgov. I wouldn't be surprised if Boston made him an offer since they have no rim protectors.

D-West is his buddy & Tim is his idol so I wouldn't be surprised of he signed a one yr contract to go ring chasing if the Spurs win the chip.

None of us here are real GM ..I have no idea why people act like one. Its a discussion board. You can look ahead jn the future.

Hibbert gets a lot of (some of it deservingly, some not so much), but realistically you couldn't really ask for a much better backup C to give you 15ish minutes a night.

I mean how many backup C's in the league right now are better than Hibbert?

The last part, Hibbert has been broken down concentrarion wise since george banged his wife and its hard to play in LA. Might.serve him to be in a good environment and accept a 5-10 minutes role insteadnof going to another toxic environment.

Mozgov is a better option if Tim retires & that would also be a nice way to cuck GM Bron.

I wouldn't mind Hibbert as a backup big if the price wasn't too high.

    Ezeli
    Tristan
    Nene
    =Noah
    Kanter
    Capela
    Tiago ter
    Olynyk
    Javale
    Jokic
    Brandon Wright
    Pekovic (when healthy)
    Ed Davis
    Koufos

Diaw also basically plays backup center.

Tyler Zeller is the big I'd go after to replace Duncan.

Hibbert is not going anywhere to be a 5-10 mpg backup.

In the event Duncan retires after this season, I could see them signing Hibbert, but otherwise it's not happening.

If Duncan returns and West isn't retained, I could see them pursuing Varejao.

Zeller is good at finishing at the rim but he is a mediocre defender/rebounder/shot blocker, just not a good fit next to LMA.

He's an elite mid-range shooter and he's very mobile. His numbers last year aren't far from what Tiago did for us.

You need a blue-collar type guy next to LMA not another finesse player. Zeller can't defend anywhere close to a healthy ter. If D-West bails then he would be a nice backup but someone like Mozgov is a much better fit next to LMA.

OP goes heavy on the gossip factor in his GM threads.
