Wait wtf they are forcing an upgrade in one year? Wtf Obamacare 2.0? Thanks Obama!
Just more privacy exploits to market to you, shear you. Eventually it's going to be a 666 on your hand or forehead, especially you evolutionists.

so whose currently on win10? verdict?
i like it, came from windows 7
Windows 10 is pure spyware ....beware
I like XP the best, Win 7 is almost as good. I bought a sweet MSI Leopard Pro recently, knowing I would hate the Win 8.1 on it, but knew 10 was coming out for free.
I upgraded to 10.
It's OK. Initial response is slower than both my XP and win 7, for any internet access. I think it's the built in spyware logging.

Also, don't use that ty "Edge" browser. Get chrome or Firefox.
I do like how fast Win10 boots.
I'm probably not going to touch Windows 10 until at least a year and a half passes or there is a game I really want to play that runs much better on DirectX 12 than DirectX 11 on my 970.
Use the media creation tool

Beware, the fresh install will wipe out your programs and data. On the bright side, if you happened to be upgrading a 32-bit windows 7/8 and you have 64-bit hardware, this will let you install win 10 64-bit.
I upgraded my box that was running Plex and Kodi. I had to reinstall those programs, but it seems to be working fine.
If I had a gaming system, I probably wouldn't chance it.
Quake 2 flies on Windows 10 son, get on it!
But Fallout 3 doesn't work on Win 10.![]()
For my desktop I Stayed on Windows 7
School laptop I upgraded to 10, and I don't have any complaints so far.
Compatibility mode?
classic start makes ten better
wtf every 24hrs or leaving the comp on for long hours, i keep on gettin bsod...
common one is expected_store_execution bsod, any fix?
It's official.. I ing hate 10
As expected, too many technical issues when gaming. Great new features, clean interface, but it sucks until the glitches are fixed. , I can't even launch CSGO anymore
Haven't had a single one and its on a PC that I leave on 24/7.
Can't expect good things to happen in the first year installing whatever Microsoft has just out. Maybe the November 2016 rush of games will give a compelling reason to upgrade from 7/8.1 if there are big improvements from DX12, but right now I'd rather just hold out. Same with GPUs btw, I wouldn't touch a new GPU until Pascal next year, maybe that drop to 14 nm will make a huge improvement like node shrinks have done in the past. Plus if DX12 catches on by then they'll get their drivers back in line to rape AMD's like they have with DX11 tbh.
Just upgraded...crossing my fingers because Windows 7 is terrific
I've been using it for a while now, love it... a lot closer to the Windows 7 experience. Just make sure you disable all the call home ...
+1. Windows 10 is good, although nowhere near perfect yet.
Eh. Terrible memory management by comparison. It's sort of like XP. Great OS for the day, but completely eclipsed in time.
Of course, I thought 8.1 was mostly superior to 7 to start with, so take that for what it's worth.![]()
I think I unchecked just about everything on the install - not a fan of the new features which are nice for average user tho imo. Restarting takes twice as long now but I'm liking the new layout; not a far cry from Win 7
