Parking Leonard on the 3 point line is such waste no matter how well he's shooting from there.
Making some shots should take a bit off pressure of the defense...
I'd like Tim to get more looks... he only took 3 shots at the half...

Spurs ball movement will get LMA up to speed faster than those grind it out set plays where he has to remember who gets the shot. He needs to let it fly when he's not covered and inside 18'.
I stand corrected. Wasn't Horry famous for coasting all season though?
Seems like he should go good against the Mavs.
They don't have anyone spreading the defense right now. Pop has Leonard out there to get the D to come out some so Tony can go to work.
Manu is fine... he missed some shots... he's streaky... maybe not as much as Green, but he had his share of cold streaks...
He would probably have more assists if we didn't miss so many shots.
This has been one of the worst Spurs team offensively in a while. This a concern even though 4 out of 5 Spur le teams averaged less than 100 a game. The spurs are currently ranked 18th in scoring. It's disturbing because in the current era the last several years no team that has been ranked as low as the spurs are on the offensive end has won a le.
Good points....not gonna argue them.
But it's a WIDE OPEN 3 point attempt. I'm fine with him letting it fly.
Probably more minutes for Tony/Danny & less for Patty/Manu.
Coasting at the 3-point line and nailing the big ones.![]()
Improving the offense is a lot easier than improving the defense though... so if that's the problem, we're in the right track...
Very funny Timmy quote after Game 5 of the 05 Finals.
Timmy basically said that Horry coasts the entire year...but shows up when the lights come on. Horry is standing right there and laughing. I'll try to find it...
I kind of hope to see Ray.
Yeah, Parker's line ought to look incredible, but he only has 3 dimes. Lots of bricks flying out there.
Are you starting to get the feeling that Tim is intentionally taking a back seat on the offensive end. I just assumed they would take whatever the defense gave them, but it sure seems like he's making a point of getting the other guys to push the O.
This, it's nice to see the defensive improvement this year. If people are getting upset with the offense they should buckle up. It's going to take the majority of the season to get everyone on the same page. Having the defense improve so much with so many new pieces is more amazing than some give credit for.

Spurs have allowed fewer than 50 points in 13 of 15 first halves this season. Allowed sub-40 points seven times.
Pop kind of implied this in pre-game interview with Bill Land. Very True. Especially in Spurs' D.
It has to be adjusted for pace otherwise it's meaningless (the Kings are ranked 5th in PPG but they don't have the 5th best offense). The Spurs are ranked 23rd in pace & 8th in offensive rating.
You hit it! I'd like to knowing the defensive ranking of recent NBA champs. I bet they have scored a lot but given up a lot more than we currently do.
He is, but against this Mavs team, when McGee is on the bench, he should have the advantage... I rather he post up than chucking jumpers.
