good coverage there, but can't keep letting mariota slip out like that

amerson having a terrific game in coverage, or maybe mariota just making him look good

What exactly has Mariota done, outside of two great games against two ty teams, that make everyone think he's so special?

his overall numbers hold up well for a rookie... inflated QB rating, good TD/INT ratio, yards per attempt, etc

but yeah, if his debut didn't go as well as it did, his entire perception would be very different tbh

    Who is he throwing to?
That's not the point. What has he done that makes everyone think he's so special? Having ty receivers doesn't make him a great QB.

its amazing how the colts receivers/oline have conveniently "played better" when hasselbeck has been in this year

Having receivers is important, Bortles almost looks like a QB because of it. Mariota is balling regardless of throwing to s worse than Miles Austin, and having two different coaches in his rookie year. Him and Jameis are special

    Reading comprehension fail:
What exactly has Mariota done, outside of two great games against two ty teams, that make everyone think he's so special?
Again, outside of being able to stat pad against the Saints/Bucs, why do people think Mariota is so good?

Telling me he's "balling" is n!ggerspeak and doesn't say anything specific about what he's done that's so impressive.

Look at the numbers. Tell me what's not impressive about that for a rookie QB. Unathletic white QB's can only wish about playing like that when they're rookies. Just look at 5 head

You're a pats fan, so you should know better about how important a good system is for a QB. Look at SysTom Brady...

Matt Cassel did a fine job under Belicuck

Here are his numbers in the 7 games outside of the two games I was referring to:

    145 for 242, 1664 yards (237 yards per game), 8 TDs, 8 interceptions

    What's so impressive about that?

Crazy as it is Cowboys are still in it......With a healthy Romo and Dez Bryant Cowboys would of been on top of the Nfc East.....
