Goat PF doing goat PF things.

Goat PF doing goat PF things.
Yep.
'Member the 2003 Playoffs Round 2 where Duncan did 25/15/5 while playing MVP level defense?
Some guy on the Lakers took all the shots and would not give the ball to Shaq.
Greatest power forward of all time.
Kobe wishes he was "the man" the way Duncan has been all these years.
No he doesnt. Kobe is gonna Kobe
I think he's got a good shout at another triple header of All-Star, All-NBA and All-Defense. If we continue this defense then the All-Defense nod is a lock, there's no other obvious #2 after Kawhi for the All Star game if we have a great record but Aldridge might get coaches vote over him on reputation. All NBA is least likely but considering the weakness of big men it's a possibility.
Pretty unreal that he's the 2nd best player on an elite team at this age
He doesn't get the same "compe or" label because he isn't a sociopath/terrible teammate like Kobe and Jordan, but the fact that he has adjusted his game several times to play in different eras is historic..not to mention that he became a better player from 2013-present than he was from 2009 to 2012, which is insane..
That would all be good.
Nothing is gonna put more icing on Duncans cred cake then a 6th legit Championship.![]()
Duncan gives the term "compe or" a far more positive connotation than Kobe or even Jordan. Being willing to sacrifice minutes and stats to stay effective is something neither Kobe nor Jordan would ever dream of. That's how you end up with Wizards Jordan and current Kobe ending their careers, while Duncan could very well retire as a 3rd team All-NBA player.
At this point, its questionable whether Tim Duncan is immortal to aging. Almost 40 years old and still schooling the rest of the league on boards.
Looks like the Bulls and MVPau are the new Bucks and Bogut.. just a difficult cover for Timmy; he has had struggled late few season vs Paul..too many single digit points game.

That late in the game where the team passed it around to Duncan in the low block. Tim tried reversing instead of turning into the paint. Got swatted.
That was painful.
Otherwise he and the team played well enough to win. Some b.s. calls and some good plays by the Bulls sunk em.
Duncan gets those numbers without stat padding a bit.
