Was he? I really don't recall him being an overwhelming MVP favorite over Curry. Do you have any polls or something to back this up? I remember many people saying it was pretty close and a tough call.
James Harden was an overwhelming fan opinion last year. Despite the media narrative that both were equal, fans just for some reason didnt give curry the same benefit. Is the 40 point games? Is it the stats?
What do the avergae fans generally target when they are looking for MVP.
Curry knows this and its probably why he trying to prove a point right now. But I had curry lasy year.

Its a possibility..there were a few people that had curry winning it. In general though 70% of the people I know and onlinenhad harden winning.
The players went for the mainstream vote too for harden
he was really good last year tho... the Kardashian effect?
He was imo he put up big numbers and carried an injury riddled team to the three seed in the West. Impressive.

James Harden of last year, is not the James Harden of this year (namely on defense). It's apples to oranges now.
Yeah..Im not comparing them as players now. I was just taking a on the average mainstream take last year of james harden scoring way more points. I was just disgusted tbh1
The 200 million dollar Adidas contract effect. He doesn't care.
