From Western Conference Finalists to Has Been in the span on one off season.

The main reason? Dork Elvis's over manipulation of the roster.

Ty Lawson = 2nd Worst Point Guard in the League with a 7.46 PER

Who's the Worst Point Guard in the League?

Well look no further than Patrick Beverly with a 6.15 PER

Bet you're all wishing you had Prignoni and Lin back now don't you?

The Unfortunate Demise of Ty Lawson

    By Danny Emerman @DanEmerman_SBN on Nov 30, 2015, 3:45p 9

    Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

It's been a precipitous fall from grace.
    TWEET SHARE (9) PIN

On Friday, Ty Lawson banked in a layup eight minutes into the first quarter against the Philadelphia 76ers. There was nothing extraordinary about the basket, except the fact that it was Lawson's first score in three games.
With a 7.46 PER, Ty Lawson is statistically the fourth worst point guard in the NBA*, prompting J.B. Bickerstaff to reduce his minutes to next to none. In the past four games, Lawson has played a total of 36 minutes, including a three-minuteperformance versus the Memphis Grizzlies and a DNP against the Knicks.
*Rockets point guard Patrick Beverley looks up at Lawson's name in the PER leaderboard as Bev sits in dead last among PGs with a 6.15 efficiency rating.
Lawson is posting career lows in minutes, assists, rebounds, and points per game. He does not just stink statistically, however, he is just playing flat-out horribly. The crazy part is that two years ago, Lawson was arguably a top five point guard in the league.

Its just hard to build around a ball dominant SG that shoots 25 a game. You need to have a group of rolw playing individuals to do that. Blame is on Harden. He just does not know how to adjust.his game

I never liked the addition of Lawson. I said he had potential but that Harden would relegate him to spot up stand in the corner shooter while Harden did his thing. I was not wrong. As an added bonus, Lawson came out of the gate stinking it up like no other point guard in recent Rockets history.

Harden must have done something though to warrant the dislike. Their body language is pretty obvious..the players dont like James Harden...

But Harden already played the same way last year and role players played their hearts out...something must have pissed them off...

If it weren't for Harden, I can't see how Lawson would only have a PER of 7.46. On any other team, He would at least have a PER of 12

The OKC contingent is cancerous to any team where they play.

Harden: Plays zero defense, probably less than zero. Ball dominant FT shooter who takes his team out of any rhythm by being on the FT line all game yet making them work to cover his defensive lapses. Malone level playoff choke artist, needed a washed up Josh Smith and JET to bail him out last year while he sat on his ass on the floor near the bench after putting on a 2015 Kobe-esque performance.

Westbrook: Better defender than Harden but still not committed to playing defense. Another bowling ball down the lane trying to get to the line. Loves the pull up transition 3 even though he's not a great 3pt shooter. Takes way too many shots for a PG with other options.

Durant: Beta as , won't lead the team. Cries to the media about how they treat people. Pot head. Highly skilled shooter and average defender (or worse). Could do much better if he would assert himself on the court instead of during the pressers.

Ibaka: Shot blocker. Decent shooter. Easily destroyed by dragging him out into the deeper water. Overrated big man. Will make more than he's worth and cripple a team.

Harden has already shown he is a hot/cold player. That's not because he lacks skillll; he's incredibly skilled. He's lazy, and as such he only does what he needs to in order to get paid.

They fought each other for media spotlight, and when they go elsewhere, they'll be cancers to their respective teams but not because they cannot play. It's because they bite off more than they can chew, the ownership buys into it and that shackles the team to that mediocre level for a contract period. Fans get attached to the high octane output of the player even though it fails in the playoffs time and again. The stat sheets fill, and the player is lauded, and some other team wins the ring.

Durant might be the only exception, if he ever steps up.

Great point. And now McHale is gone and so is that excuse (But Mchale did suck) I wonder if Harden banged one of their groupies before he started mating with Khloe?

Ding. Not any new information but concise and well-stated.

Can anyone seriously see OKC even sniffing a le this year? Anyone?

I never took them seriously to begin with, tbh.. just a gimmicky team who relied on getting hot from deep and Harden FT parades to get itd done..Good luck with Harden/Howard as your 1/2 punch..This season is tending toward 1st round exit in sweep by Warriors/Spurs in as 7th/8th seed..I don't think Harden is going anywhere, but they might just hope for Howard to opt out in order to refashion the roster..
