At least Jimmer makes threes. McCallum is worthless.
No he doesn't.
"His wife is hot." - T.Parker
I hope we keep rayray on this team for the next 5 years. Just so we can hear you about how jimjam was more deserving.
Me too.
just posting to support Mugen on most valuable posters list
Oh great, I've locked up the Armenian vote....
Jimmer is still the King of Scrubs.
Sign him up.... assuming he's gotten over himself!
It's amazing how playing against smaller and slower defenders can all the sudden make Jimmer an effective offensive player. It's as if biomechanics actually matter.
And yet if Simmons had done this Spurstalk would wet itself.
wish he could learn to play off of the ball and get away from the mentality that he is going to be the "guy" on an nba team.
No, nobody noticed or knew who Simmons was even after scoring 20 points or more in 11 outings in the D-league last year. 3 of those where 29 points or more.
Too good for D-League, too bad for NBA. Kinda like how Jeremy Lin was.
It's the only way he knows how to play. Look at the highlights of those 37 points...not a single basket was assisted. It's like every time he gets the ball, he goes into "one-man wrecking crew" mode.
It's like the "pass" button on his controller is broken. That kind of game won't work on 98% of NBA teams. It's no wonder the Spurs didn't want to keep the guy.
Jimmer's passing isn't his issue. He's a fine d-league PG. His shooting is the problem, and anyone who disagrees is frankly clueless at this point.
Vs the d-league he can get to the rim as shown in that video. That allows him have the ball in his hands to create his own threes when he wants.
This thread is getting to 100. It's a form of Manifest Destiny.
Those were actually really tough lay-ups and shots that he was making. It's not like he was blowing past guys or getting his shot off easily. That approach will never work against superior NBA talent...needs to focus on simply being a spot-up shooter.
Doing my part to get this to 100 pages.
