This play pretty much sums Kobe up right now.
Look at what the author writes and the video shows. there is a huge disconnect by his fandom

The sad thing is Kobe is still a good ball-handler and could easily remake himself in this final season as a facilitator/mentor figure. Imagine the storyline if he finished with his lowest scoring average but highest assist rate... but instead he'll be remembered for probably the worst high volume shooting season in NBA history.
Is he just trolling us?"They were," Bryant said after his team's 103-91 loss at Wells Fargo Center. "When I came out and made three in a row, I could sense they were like, 'I really don't want to touch him ... and 'Holy crap! Is this going to be an 81-[point] situation?' You know what I mean? Like, 'I really don't know what to do.' And I'm just sitting there thinking, 'Man, I'm just playing possum, because I know my legs aren't going to carry this energy for 48 minutes.' But certainly I could sense a little bit of that."
holy
Someone needs to make a compilation of all these kobe plays from this season.
So true. He had a nice assist to Randle on one play. I started watching after halftime. It was - for lack of better words surreal. Some of the 3 point shots where pathetic. Tightly guarded, time left on the clock, and he fires away.. half the time trying to initiate contact.
Yeah, so true. If this was a pick up game on a random court, the other nine guys would all be thinking, OK, let's all agree to not invite this guy to play next time...
I hadn't even thought of that way...
I can remember this exact scenario,,
The other 4 guys would go to their cars and pull out their guns.
Kobe is pretty much going for as many points as he can.
Now Kobe is filing for trademarks on the phrase "HeroVillain," "HV," and "KB20." What??

Stellar 1/7 with 0/3 3fg at half brings him to what number?
Only 1 shot in the first 6 minutes of the 3rd? C'mon Kirby, shoot your way out of that funk. YOU STILL GOT IT MAN!
Got home from work and had NBATV on and they showed a couple highlights for Kobe including the crowd going crazy after he hit a 3. I thought "oh maybe he's having a decent game for once'. Then they cut to the stats and he was 3/12 at that time. So they basically just showed his only 3 plays and pretended that, that was the norm for the game.
28/127 from 3 is good for... 22.0%
Kirbs and Scott you are keeping me green!![]()
If he goes below 30%-- Jesus, is it possible to be that bad for such an extended period?
