Barca has done a better job than Madrid in terms of potential phasing out of its superstar at the very early signs of decline or unavailability. Messi is clearly surrounded with better top-notch talent, tbh..RMA, on top of health, will need Ronaldo to go banana again to have chance at the league or CL ..looks like a transition year..Florentino Perez will need to cut some dead declining weight before they contend again..Goodluck with a president who is slowly turning into the Fredo of soccer

True that his decline has kicked in.. but won't help the team to compete with Barca when Neymar/Suarez and even at times Iniesta are probably better than any second banana Real Madrid has..They need to clean house in the summer and hope CR have a resurgence..
