I can't see Memphis as a threat to the Spurs this year. They don't match up especially with Aldridge on defense. That was key more than Kawhi's threes.
Kawhi did some Barnes Burning last night.

What you did there. I see it.
I just think some of us remember when ZBo wouldn't miss against us no matter how good the defense, this team isn't that team anymore. While some lamented that Memphis series heralded the end of the Spurs era and the closing of their window, it appears that the Grizz's window might be the one that is closing and not the Spurs.
Not so worried about the Grizzlies over a 7 game series. Even with their troubles I think the Clippers are the biggest threat to the Spurs in the West outside of Golden State. But if LMA's new defense can at least slow Blake, we'd win going away.
Once again lame insult for someone you've never seen before who your insulting through a computer screen. Stick with what we know. “Hater is an attention seeking " is a more factual response...
OKC is our biggest threat, they matchup well and get all the calls
Called it.
Yeah I figured making that post right after we just blew them out on the road would make it apparent I was being sarcastic![]()
Struggling?
sure, in a game almost 2 weeks ago where he shot 5-15
So 1 good game 1 bad game is struggling?
i made that comment over a week ago. he was struggling during that 1 game
Do you stand on your head and spin when Kawhi struggles?
no. it's an emoticon.
were you dropped on your head as a child?
If Kawhi struggle snuggled your girl, would it make you angry? Or would you send him violent emoticons?
another blowout loss
Worriers, cavs and grizz.
In that order. Those teams scare me.
The team that OKC blew out by 37 in Memphis scares you? Maybe in a single game, but not in a seven game series.
OKC is the far scarier team if Durant's healthy. And he's looking pretty healthy right now.
I would say that is 100% true as of now, they did go on to sweep them the next year too and own them in all besides two games they lost since then so that was hardly the end when everyone was calling it that! It really was just the end of one era and then the beginning of the other one once the Kawhi trade was made and they got the resurgence they needed to compete again for les. Tim turning back the clock helped a little too I would say.
Also if I am correct Z Bo has had some GOD awful games against the Spurs since that 11 first round series, they have shut him down at times. The closing of their window I would have to agree with and whats sad is they never made one finals out of it. They choked against OKC a few times when they had them beat in a series, just never could get over that hump.Oh yeah no doubt about it at all. Spurs match up really well with Memphis, not so much against OKC if Durant is 100%.
