This guy sounds like he can recruit Florida but can he recruit Texas? This seems to be one of the main problems with Stongs' hiring history.
Whoa! Did they not just accept a bowl game and now...
Avante.
Random sprint crap, take it to your compost pile.
BYU is having some serious money issues. They are basically only offering partial scholarships to many of their football recruits. I know a kid that turned them down. Bronco is a great coach and if he can turn Virginia around he will be at a big time program very soon. Coaching at BYU is like fighting with one arm tied behind your back.
I did not know this.
Probably because it's not true
Oh, it's true. The kid I know was offered a partial scholarship, he is an offensive tackle. He has offers from a few local schools like Texas state and Steven F Austin. BYU offered him a partial. Now I'm sure there are highly regarded recruits that are getting full rides but he told me he isn't the only recruit to get offered a partial he said there a ton of guys that are only on partial scholarships on that team.
How many times have we all heard some announcer tell us about Kolby Listeenbees's 100m time at TCU? Just because you need to stay simple that doesn't mean everyone else does. And. don't tell me what to do ya little freak, got it? Did ya miss being told about Derrick Henry's track exploits iin hs? Stupid, ya can never know too much, got it?
Please don't ruin this thread.
This thread is for recruiting. Go away.
I have to agree.
Halftime present Coaching moments:
Baylor: Basically playing sandlot football with a 4th or 5th string QB. Can they actually get some sort of quickly contrived game plan against a shallow UT defensive team? Will they figure they can pound us to death with some running or just try to play pitch and catch pickup game.
Texas: Can we take advantage of a flag football offense. Can we actually move the ball on our own without help. This is our last game of the season and we are still unable to execute the quick pass to a wideout.
1. Snaps have been decent
2. Swoopes is catching the snap
3. The throws are inconsistent
4. The wideout blocking horrid.
5. The positioning between the wideouts to make a block and catch on the move abysmal.
6. Catching the ball inconsistent.
7. Making the correct move after catching the ball mostly unknown because we can't even get through 3-6
This is the LAST GAME of the year and we still can't accomplish a HS play.
Charlie, you are up again. Can you take advantage? Will we just hold on to win? Or, the not entirely unthinkable...
This second half should be very interesting from a coaching standpoint. Recruits of both team take note.
S Devin Studstill of Palm Beach Gardens (Fl.) will officially visit Texas on Friday 11th of December and stay throughout the weekend, per 24/7.
EDIT: Forgot what month he was visiting...

pickSixPreviews: TEXAS (5-7) has more Top 15 wins than Alabama, Ohio State, Iowa, & UNC -- COMBINED
I know it doesn't mean much but wow what an interesting fact.
BruceFeldmanCFB: #Texas upsets No. 12 Baylor. Charlie Strong goes 5-7 but w/ wins over 2 top 12 teams--as many as Mack Brown had in his last 4 yrs at Texas.
Stat may read better this way...
Neh, you'll need a legit source to show that BYU is having financial woes.
Personal "i know a kid" stories are worthless
Out-coached. Again.
Advantage Baylor if a recruit wants to play college football.
Pretty damn embarrassing.
Yeah, but what's odd is that their head coach just left out of the blue to Virigina. BYU has had a good football program for a while... Virginia? not so much.
But Virginia is in a power conf $
BYU is not ND.
So I can see the assertion as plausible.
Add to this Mormon women are ugly. (Which is totally beside the point but I wanted to say it)
Yeah Virginia seems like a lateral move, but what's that got to do with financial woes
