I disagree. Let's look at Kobe's stats vs Duncan (longest time Spur who doesn't miss many games) head to head to see how Kobe typically does vs the Spurs.
http://www.basketball-reference.com/...1&p2=bryanko01
As you can see, Kobe shoots under 43% from the field, under 30% from three, turns the ball over nearly 3 1/2 times, doesn't kill the Spurs with passing or rebounding or steals or anything really. Kobe also consumes 32 1/2 Lakers possessions to get his 24.5 points and 4.5 assists a game. Otherwise known as barely average NBA offensive efficiency.
Real Lakers Spur killer? That would be Shaq. Or Bynum/Gasol. Kobe has had a couple good series but he's never been the threat those bigs were and would not have been factor had those other guys not been beasting.

No, the real Spurs killer was Fisher![]()
Your pivots and reflections away from the curb stomping ass kicking Kobe gave yall in the head to head is cute...nice pivot to the finals
Again what's the record Head to Head 4-1 feel free to throw in the locked out season to give you 4-2 in which you trail![]()
Name me a series Kobe beat Tim then went on to win FMVP![]()

Kool's clip showed single coverage anyway
I don't know why his monkey brain thinks help defense is a "quadruple team."
Keep at it, Kool. You might be onto something here, since this has been your most successful thread in months![]()
I think we won that game by like 20, tbh
He's hit some clutch shots but didn't dominate games. I don't count that as a "team killer".
but Kobe bean won't pass the ball and would rather make a low percentage high difficulty shot. No wonder he's shooting 30% as we speak.
He made more 3s than the ENTIRE Spurs team in 2001 & was chilling on the bench in the 4th quarter
That's not really a feat when the Spurs as a team only hit 4 threes in the last two games. . .of a series they got swept in including multiple blowouts.
Shaq and Kobe killed us that series, not Fisher. Fisher was only scoring 13-16 point aside from the game 4 30 point blowout. I'm sure Fisher was "chiling on the bench" too, having played 41 minutes that game and getting 1/3rd of his points that game in the fourth after they were already up by over 20. Get the outta here.
Idiot, his 15 made 3s were a playoff record for 4 game sweep.

An irrelevant "record". It was a sweep. He was on a team with peak Shaq and a young Kobe entering his prime who wasn't a prima donna yet. And as I already posted, he was stat padding that in blowouts when they were already up by over 20 while playing over 40 minutes to stat pad. You think that makes him a "Spur killer" when he never even cracked 20 points before that stat pad at the end of the sweep? Yeah okay ter. Exactly why you lied and falsely claimed he was on the bench. . .when in reality he tacked another 25% more threes onto his total via stat pad when the series was already over.
Be impressed by that nonsense and keep pretending he was better than Shaq and Kobe.Dumbass.
Shaq has his lowest career average against the Spurs, you can't referred to as a "killer" if that is the case.
