No. I'm staying that equivalency is irrelevant. Get an adult to read this to you, ing imbecile.

Measure it
Oh you can't.
Sure and I am not saying that one is inherently better than the other particularly when it comes to any particular candidate or person. I still acknowledge that one party tries to play thought police through major media and otherwise use dystopian tactics and the other doesn't. Roger Ailes founded Fox News and has a permanent RNC position. I cannot believe it just gets a pass.
They have that apparatus trained to teach their is fair and balanced while literally every other major carrier is independent of the political parties. Their coverage is very obviously intent on furthering the interests of the benefactor. Their talking heads are perpetually demonizing all other television media terming it M$M.
I don't like the dems for different reasons but the GOP is pretty ed up. The only other country like that is Italy and of course Russia and I hate that comparison. They are known for corrupt and mismanaged governance.
I agree with your position on Fox. ... Always have. How powerful are they? Measure it.
Never mind, Fuzzy. It's just not relevant to the larger picture.
I think the better question is where would the GOP stand in the electorate without gerrymandering and their newscorp?
I also think it's central to the polarization of politics on a personal level which I think is highlighted pretty clearly in this forum. You can see it's influence on quite a few people that post here as they parrot the divisive takes and methods. The station was founded in 96 which just so happens to be the year of the Republican revolution. They celebritized people like newt Gingrich, a decidedly corrupt mother er. The dems and that machine joined forces to dismantle the banking regulatory system.
You think Bush wins both times without that?
It might be all the difference in the world and either way it is a direct and obvious conflict of interest. You don't need to measure it.
too late Fox news is a blight on democracy.
In response to your first question, gerrymandering is the droid you're looking for. Fox didn't take down CNN until 02 or 03.
Polarization is a ploy of nascent neo-liberalism and currently serves both "parties".
By the way, I enjoy the give and take with you. You use complete sentences. Refreshing.![]()
Is pew neo-liberalism?
http://www.people-press.org/2014/06/...erican-public/Republicans and Democrats are more divided along ideological lines – and partisan antipathy is deeper and more extensive – than at any point in the last two decades. These trends manifest themselves in myriad ways, both in politics and in everyday life. And a new survey of 10,000 adults nationwide finds that these divisions are greatest among those who are the most engaged and active in the political process.
I got that take from them.
Due to the horrendous consequences, smart people prefer to err on the side of caution, on the side scientific consensus.
otoh, You People have been demagogued by BigCarbon and it political/scientific s into ignorant recklessness that is a much bigger threat to civilization than religious fundamentalism.

and those horrendous consequences have been overstated and overdramatized... which has only hurt its cause
that's in your opinion, the SCIENTIFIC FACTS say otherwise.
(puzzled) Not sure what you are getting at here. What do you mean by "myth of equivalency"?
Like the fact that we were going to run out of fossil fuels by 2000?
Yes terrorism, and don't forget workplace violence as well.
did Dear work at planned parenthood?
Good question.
Dude won't answer it.
This Is What the Alleged Planned Parenthood Shooter Shouted in Court
"I am a warrior for the babies," he shouted

No. And?
that's sort of a big deal when you call something workplace violence
Was it at a place of work?
