My sources tell me the Spurs will be on a 9 game losing streak going into that game and simply forfeit after jump ball.

Tim, Manu, Tony, Kawhi and LaMarcus will be traded for 2nd and 3rd round draft picks 5 years from 2016 prior to the game for the good of the team. Richard Jefferson will be brought back to the team by any means available and the FO states that Alfedrick Hughes announces his comeback to the Spurs.
An assured win says Pop, Little known Pop, Mr. Holt and RC bordering on orgasms. Go Spurs Go!
I thought you were going to go balls to the wall and suggest the Spurs and Warriors each go 78-4 with the Spurs getting the one-seed by virtue of a sweep of GS.
LOL... I could see that getting posted here, for real.
higher probability this happens than that the Spurs do not lose again in 2015
In that case, GG no re.
To be fair, Manu missed the last 2 threes in that OT before that one, including one ill advised one and one that barely hit the rim.
The Dubs should drop the next one in Indy. And I'll be there :-)
Nobody asked you to be fair though
That shot was golden
The only thing the Dubs drop is deuces on the other team.
NBA should never allow the scheduling for good teams that is taking place between the Warriors and Spurs this year. Two of their games at the tail end of the season is absolutely absurd.
January, 25. The Spurs have lost 22 games in a row, with 8 players suffering from highly contagious stomach flu since Kawhi Leonard vomits over them in Philadelphia. On the other hand, the Golden State Warriors look more invincible than ever, they have 11 players averaging 20+ppg, and 4 of them have been named players of the week in the last month.

Next time you have a notion to be fair when it comes to Manu's greatness?
Elect to be unfair.
It's working in the Spurs favor as Danny is still ice cold & LMA is still getting acclimated. Not to mention Boban forcing his way into the rotation. I hope Pop trolls the Warriors "small ball" lineup by sending out this crew:
PG:Bobo
SG: LMA
SF: West
PF: Tim
C: Boban
Curry has now nowhere to hide on defense![]()
only if it's a 25 point game with under 6 minutes to go. A simple screen and curry gets a wide open three, or, alternatively someone in the paint gets a dunk or free throws if you help.
I love Manu and am most definitely not CoP trash. But that was definitely more of a redemption shot than a cap to an amazing performance kind of shot. Still got me free coffee that morning on my way to high school (end of my senior year). Good times
I thought someone said the spurs dont play the dubs till march![]()
It was an all time franchise clutch shot, spin it how you want, nobody cares
spurs-warriors winner will beat the cavs.
no it wasn't, not even close, for several reasons:
- It was literally the first game of the series
- Spurs lose that game and we likely come back and win game 2 and the outcome is the same
- Spurs probably would have been better off losing that series anyway... to spare us the permanent heart damage that ensued a little over a month or so thereafter.
