I've been thinking about picking this up. Is it as good as all the news outlets hype it to be? I was debating on getting this or Madden for the holidays.

I enjoy football and basketball equally so from an unbiased perspective NBA 2K16 is the best sports game on the market right now. Madden has far too many issues to be worth buying which is a shame because I'd really like to play a quality current gen football sim.
Madden is agrbage per the usual, pick up 2k.
I recently bought 2k and I am terrible. Haven't played in a few years. Any basic tips?
Only thing I'm good at is turnovers.
Run some plays and make sure you set up your points of emphasis for defense/offense. I used to just play without doing all that stuff and I was fine but on the newer consoles the game runs differently.

Appreciate the feedback. I read this game is much more SIM based, as far as having to call plays and defense sets since the game adapts to your play style. Seems pretty cool.
Same here. I'd like a good football SIM.
Don't really need to run set plays. PnR, PnP and Post-ups + transition offense = virtually all of my pts. Just gotta make sure that you don't dribble into traffic, cuz that's an automatic turnover w/ the patch 3 updates.
Only play on pc though. Not sure how it may be different form consoles.

Yea lot of people just run a PnR offense. I usually run with the Bucks playbook. I believe it's 94 side or 93 side but it's a double pick up top, has many options. Kawhi is a beast too

I traded in my Madden in for Rainbow 6 Siege.... An I've only played 2k16 twice since I got Rainbow 6..... 2k ain't to much better than Madden. They're both trash, with the same ole from yrs before.

ing great.... Seriously. Its like search an destroy on call of duty. Only you can breach walls, ceilings, floors. No responds, an no health regains. Its such a rush. I play battlefield 4 an hard line too. But I haven't since I Got this game. Imma trade those games in too.

I haven't played a rainbow six game in so long so I didn't know. But if SamPham is on YouTube then it's possible.
