You man up and beat them with execution and a strong mental mindset, not with stupid y gimmicks. I see the Spurs beating them once or twice this regular season

Its why Pop is running iso they will play them like Cavs did ... but with better players. Pop is trying to control pace. Will punish the small ball lineups inside ... and try to limit fastbreaks which is sound. I know iso ball is a bad word lately ...but if you do isolate you can setup your offense with spacing to limit fast breaks. IF you primarily going inside to Kiwi/Duncan or LMA the other 3 players outside of the passer or cutter should be able to get back quickly in transition if the Spurs dont score.
Not saying it will work but it's far smarter then trying to outgun the Dubs ...like the Clips, rox or Pacers tried last night.

LMA has to play great basketball for the Spurs to have a chance. If he doesn't, the Warriors can live with small ball and the Spurs will get ed
So, normal defensive strategies like trapping or daring a streaky shooter to beat you with jumpshots are county gimmicks now?
Spurs have owned Golden State these last couple of years, including last season. Obviosuly the Warriors are playing the best ball of their life right now and they would be favoured in a matchup against SA but I think it's fair to say there are things the Spurs do that help them when they play GS, so I doubt they will get " ed".
If LMA doesn't play great, have no doubt Pop will have no problem pulling his ass out and playing Boris or Leonard at the 4.
