I'd take him this year on a trade tbh. Early the better (Dec. 15) so he can play with the team a decent amount of time. He's a poor mans Curry with his ability to shoot a decent percentage on 3's off multiple dribbles and right in a defenders face. Spurs need some another shooter and he can shoot 40% on ty looks.

Also don't see why the Lakers wouldn't want to move a 30yo at this point.

Diaw actually had tangible skills that can be attributed to winning professional basketball games, Nick Young is a tall version of Gary Neal & all he does is launch shots every time he touch the ball while doing a whole lot of nothing on the other end.

FYI: Nick Young has 567 career assists in 8 season meanwhile Diaw had 503 assists in the 2005-06 season alone.
