I think Simmons was a little too aggressive knowing his team had an insurmountable lead at that point. He had a couple of bad turnovers, but the only thing that really went wrong is that a few shots didn't fall for him tonight. He had two threes that weren't bad shots by any means, he couldn't have been more wide open. They just didn't fall, which is a problem within itself. He also missed a highlight real dunk.

Spurs should play the same whether they are leading by a ton or behind by a ton. I think that's Pop's expectation. He needs to pace himself and learn how to move at different speeds. He's not getting the easy layups he got against less athletic compe ors.

Simmons wouldn't get into foul trouble and/or have so many TOs if he'd only think before he decides to barrel into the lane against two or three defenders. Those are the kind of rookie mistakes that will put him on the bench if he doesn't correct them.

that is avg. margin of victory of over 25 per game. If you get rid of that damn 3 pt win, it is an average of over 28 per game. That kind of dominance reminds me of when teams like Duke, UNC, and the early 90s UNLV would play their non-conference schedules in college hoops.
