Another day, another nice Leonard article. More great quotes from Pop, Manu, Parker, Rivers, Scott, Van Gundy.

"He's just one of those quiet players that goes about his business," Lakers coach Bryon Scott said. "I think each year his role has expanded [...] I think Pop has given him much more freedom offensively to do the things that he's capable of doing. He's just a great young player. He doesn't go around patting his chest and all that stuff. He just goes out and plays, so he doesn't get a whole lot of recognition. But I know that the guys in the basketball world, we know how good he is.

    Good stuff.

The results of that work ethic are on full display now.

He's never made the all-star team. Right now he's in the conversation for top 5 in the league if not top 2. That's a major leap.

Fingers crossed that he has a full season without injuries.

Agree, Kawhi will be this generation's Kobe in terms of being second to none in work ethic among all stars/superstars.

Tim arguably had a better work ethic, but Kobe's PR did him real good tbh. I could actually name quite a few players - Dirk, Garnett, Pierce, Iverson, Bowen, Ray Allen, Reggie Miller.
