You know what Kool, I shouldn't have spoken so harshly, and calling you stupid was probably over the line. In real life, you're probably a reasonably intelligent guy. But I don't understand why you work so hard at forging this on-line persona as an instigator. I mean, why not just come in here and try to have a thought provoking real basketball conversation? There's posters on here that are pretty passionate and smart. You might enjoy a more positive interaction. Just give it a try. If you can't, then I stand by my initial statement, and believe that all posters on ST would be better off simply ignoring your threads until you finally get the hint.

Imagine if your hero was playing while retired, ruining his legacy, played his last meaningful game at the ripe young age of 33, didn't participate in the playoffs for 25% of his carerr, and was leaving your once proud franchise in a historical ditch due to his selfishness, rapist, and sociopathic ways.

If you spent your childhood and early adult life worshipping THAT, you'd probably do everything in your power to distract your peers from your poor judgement.

Tbh, they both really annoyed me, but I dealt with it as diplomatically as possible-- afterall, I had to work with them every day and didn't want to have a workplace that was just contentious all the time. Later, I found out that these two guys had something in common: both of their fathers had committed suicide when their sons were in high school. After that, I just felt sorry for them. That kind of of behavior rarely comes from nowhere... there's almost always something at the root of it...
