Is there a part you didn't understand?
I'm here to help you understand how you were trolled.
If you say so, Daniel.

If you have to "help me understand", you suck at trolling![]()
You didn't answer the question.
Tisk.
Well, you are still in the Ray McCallum thread.
Maybe someday you'll realize what happened.
SAN ANTONIO (Dec. 27, 2015) – The San Antonio Spurs today announced that they have assigned guard Ray McCallum to the Austin Spurs of the NBA Development League.
McCallum, 6-3/190, is averaging 1.6 points in 7.1 minutes in 13 appearances with San Antonio this season. The assignment marks McCallum’s third stint with the Austin Spurs, where he has averaged 16.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 37.8 minutes in four total appearances this season.
...................
Jimmer averages 23ppg, 4.4 rpg, 4.6 apg, 2spg in 36 min.
Can I ask you politely, since I am genuinely interested in our roleplayers, what do you think they had him work on?
What kind of sets where they running?
Does this look like the assignment just to get him some court reps, or was there anything in particular he seemed to be assigned to do?
Were they calling plays for him?
Don't look at Ray's stats from today whatever you do. Your Sabbath will be ruined.
Looked at the stats, Ray had a great game, best +/- in the team, scored efficiently, got assists, and may I add, apparently Cady Lalanne continues to play well as well.
Crying over Jimmer not being worthy of the Austin Daye spot![]()
Nobody's crying, bruh. I ain't anyhow.
good game by Ray.
In 5 d-league games, McCallum is averaging 18.6 on 38.6 mpg.
In 12 d-league games, Jimmer has never scored fewer than 19 on 36.3 mpg.
McCallum has shot .445 FG and .409 3FG and Jimmer has shot .493 FG and .459 3FG.
Spurs f'd up.
To be honest, NBA players should average more than 20 points in the D-league.
We are talking about a player here that can't sniff the court because he can't defend. That is the same flaw of Jimmer. Therefore, you can't say the Spurs messed up. Furthermore, Jimmer has a at ude problem that you really don't want for someone at the end of the bench.
What you want for the end of bench guy is a guy like Patty Mills who was content in waiving the towel all game long! Patty is my favorite player in the Spurs and he's likely every Spurs favorite player. Jimmer.... well... he still thinks he's a superstar.
6 assists.... that's an improvement.
McCallum did an okay job of clapping in this video. He needs to work on his towel waving. That must be why he was sent back to the d-league. Clearly, he had an at ude problem.
Maybe you can't read. I'm saying if you are at the end of bench player, you can't act like you are a prima dona. This is meant for Fredette. McCallum doesn't have an at ude problem, he has a T-rex arms problem... same problem that Fredette also has.
Also, nothing prohibits the Spurs from giving Fredette a second look if they so desired. Danny Green's journeymen days through the D-League come to mind. Difference being that Green is a defender...
And this team's iden y this year, more than previously is defense (and they have always been defense first, but had recently trotted out purely offensive players in the regular rotation like Gary Neal and Marco Belinelli.) This year they did away with that and went fir players with defensive upside.
It is possible Ray doesn't figure in the Spurs future. It is hard to say bc our PG have been healthy luckily, but Ray is an energy guy who makes hustle plays. Jimmer didn't have that.
Well, it's a good thing Fredette's goal is rotation player and not end of bench guy, then.
There are very rare instances where every team passes on a player who then shows they were wrong. Hassan Whiteside is a good example, but lots of teams shied away from him because of maturity/behavior issues. Honestly, if I was Jimmer I'd happily head to Europe & make some money living in a great city like Barcelona, Paris, or Rome.
Fredette needs to see the writing on the wall. NBA players are now much better 3 point shooters. Small ball revolution has taken over. The bar is much higher now, players not only have to shoot but they must be big and quick enough to defend.
Fredette is a short and slow player. There are plenty of players that are much taller and quicker that can shoot the 3. Realize also that Fredette's shooting in nothing near elite.
The Jimmer is an American brand. Moving to Europe is probably not the slam dunk you think it is. If you were arguing from a purely basketball perspective, then maybe. But I think Jimmer has his pride and wants to prove himself at the NBA level in any event.
I don't think it's a slam dunk-- I think it's a great opportunity to have an irreplaceable life experience, making good money & living in a great city of the world for a few years...
