Yep. Halfway through the season and his only time on an NBA team was when one had a 16th roster spot.
The D-League has been something of a blessing for Jimmer; he was needing the serious minutes to work on his game. Jimmer looks as good as I've seen him as a pro now. Whatever team picks him up will be getting a solid asset.

fredette is shooting close to 50% from the floor and from the field..Thats is Scary...
. Fredette is a rare player and an Offensive Juggernaut.. He has simply been ABUSED during his time in the NBA ..Except for the first 4 games when Paul Westphall was coaching the Kings . Fredette started four games and averaged 16 pts ppg and 4 assists...with NO pre-season..SInce then it has been a nightmare for this great player . Keith Smart came in and did all he could to keep Fredette from becoming the player he can be. Demarcus Cousins was the GM (still is) and like many other teammates was jealous of all the attention Fredette received .( Fredette jerseys sold 10X the amount of any other Kings Jersey).."Smart" told the press that there were jealousy "issues" but did nothing to end it..just let DMC run the show. ..Fredett had a least 20 games where he scorched opponents for a quarter ..only to be then benched by smart... then hit with DNP"S....This went on for two torturous years...Fredette played ONE game in Chicago where he gets significant minutes and tore it up 17 pts , 5 or 6 assists played great D and his teammates LOVED him on the court as did the fans .. The playoffs role around and Thibidoux Sp? refused to let Fredette on the court ..The ONE thing the Bulls needed was SCORING ..and there sat Fredette while a Weak Wizards team knocked the Bulls out of the playoffs..The Bulls were shooting SO poorly they scored only 69 puts in the deciding game...
Pelicans played Fredette during the pre-season and he just LIT IT UP was shooting 50% from the field and from 3PT range. The New Orleans papers were aglow with Fredette's play at Point Guard...he was the second leading scorer on the team ..When the season started he was somehow demoted to playing behind Doc Rivers son who he easily outplayed in pre-season. Monty Williams destroyed Fredette's rhythm and confidence ..
The FACT is when Fredette plays 20 minutes or more he is an Elite NBA player...that he IS proving by DOMINATING the DLeague... The thing that makes freed So special is that he is a GREAT scorer but also a TEAM FIRST guy ..he ALWAYS hits the open man and never plays the ball hog..If he did he would be averaging 35 in the dleague. His presence on the court IMMEDIATELY enhances his team as he is a great passer and has a Very high basketball IQ. He also is the best shooter on the planet.
Stupid coaches, GM"S and writers think of Fredette as strictly an outside shooter..that is a testament to how STUPID and misinformed they are and a testament to how blatantly FALSE that idea is..Watch ONE game and you will see how easily he beats his defenders off the dribble..Fredette scores MOST of his points by CREATING shots for himself. He is one of the best on the planet at getting a shot off on his own...
And for the Idiot coaches fans and media who repeat Fredette is "slow"
