Pay schmay.
He already fleeced the Spurs for a cool half mil
The pay is real.
True. And a player's earning window is small unless you're Tim Duncan.
Indeed. Even at the minimum, every day on an NBA roster is worth about 5K before taxes for a guy like Jimmer.
Finder's fee to the agent Jimmer shares with David West.
Perhaps.
Though, I think the Spurs had initially figured Jimmer would be the 15th man. Pop even mentioned the lack of guard shooting when Mills was out in response to the Jimmer signing.
16 more pages til 50. C'mon you useless cucks, post more.
Why is this thread 112 pages?
Did Jimmer fans sign up to Spurstalk?
Jimmer's best all-around performance thus far in the opinion of the announcers:
25 Pts, 11 Rebs, 9 Asts, 2 Stls
8-14 FG, 3-5 3FG, 6-6 FT, +18
Im curious why do you keep bumping this, if jimmer is really any good teams would have picked him up already. But dude has been released a lot in the past, even by the Spurs who have a huge hardon in developing prospects.
Media narrative. Spurs worry about fit first and foremost. PATFO did not have enough confidence in KA/Simmons yet and had to bring on Butler. Sadly, they did not realize that Jimmer is way better than Corpse McCallum. Mistakes happen.
Apparently 30 franchises have already made a mistake not picking jimmer up![]()
no i don't think that's the case. It's just about the fit. Take Jeremy Lin for instance. I would take almost any college PG before giving him a look. He broke out with the Knicks, sucked with the Lakers, and is now decent. It's not as simple as the skill set of the player. This is what makes SA so impressive on the management piece.
Jeremy Lin would not be good with the Spurs either.
Lin his a high basketball IQ player with limited athleticism and non-elite shooting. He did well with the Knicks because they were rudderless at the time.
You're not coming across as a serious poster, tbh. Jimmer will be back in the league in the near future and you know it. Will the '30 franchises apparently know he's NBA worthy all of the sudden.' Where a player lands can greatly affect a player's career. Any serious poster knows this.
Funny you should say that, tbh imho fwiw.
Upz for Jimmer. Jeremy Lin is doing quite well coming off the bench. Despite relatively limited athletic abilities, these nba players can dunk the ball. I'd think Jeremy Lin dunks more often then Jimmer. But of course the success of ball players is not determined by that. Tony Parker seldom dunk but he is a future hall of famer . The speed of TP was impressive when he was a rookie. I remember watching one of the playoff games some years back, TP just blew by his marker to the basket easily. Patty Mills is extremely quick too. I can't decide who is faster, TP or Mills. Perhaps the Spurs like guards who are fast and skillful. and Jimmer I'd think is rather skilled, however he is not as fast as mills or TP. Jeremy is average, not consistent. He may score alot sometimes. but Kawhi will check him easily or some other defenders will. Just my opinion only.
Funny you should overlook your sh**** 'logic' being shredded.
It's weirdness that fascinates me...
Jimmer with 13 on 3-4 FG in the first half. That's some serious eFG. He added 3 assists and 3 rebounds.
