Sorry for the loss of your dad. None of us lose our parent (s) without realizing that one of the people who knew and loved us longer than anyone else on the planet is no longer there for us.
Regardless of how young or old, regardless of how much we expect or think we are prepared for the loss, it leaves a hole.
I am sorry for your loss. Live your life to make him proud. That is all you can do.

went to a decent party other than one head I deal with everytime.
I was gonna offer condolences before but felt like I missed the moment. Plus since I attack Parker whom you love I figured you wouldn't want my sympathies.
I didn't know about all your losses, years ago I lost my dad and a close friend within weeks years apart so I sort of know the feeling, but it's different for everyone. My deepest condolences and hope you find understanding and serenity.

Thank you for your kind words. It was all such a horrific shock that seemed that it was impossible that it might actually be happening. Understanding and serenity are high on my list of good things to discover in 2016! So I thank you.
You overestimate my esteem for Parker (much more likely to simply have a knee jerk reaction to ANY team member getting creamed. Manu is my favorite and always has been), but neither he nor any sports figure has a place in this kind of experience.
