From a Josh Newburg interview at the Under Armour All-America Game, 2 hours ago. Not a good sign for Texas with Dontavious Jackson:
— Prior to the game, FSU commitment Levonta Taylor’s father came up and introduced himself to me. We chatted about a few things and he pointed out on the field to four-star linebacker Dontavious Jackson, saying he’s confident FSU is going to land him. I followed up with Levonta after the game. We spoke about a few things and I asked him what his thoughts are on Jackson after spending a week with him. Taylor responded, “locked down to FSU”, with a big smile.
Scout believes Florida State is the leader currently.
24/7 reporting OL Jean Delance will be on campus January 16th for his official visit.
Serious question: what happens with Eric Cuffee, silent commit or does this buy him more time to rethink his decision?
I think ESPN tried to fit him in yesterday, but when he was originally told no by them, he made a deal with Bleacher Report. He is going to make one of those commitment videos that BR has been putting out this fall for recruits. It's probably going to be made this coming week.
How are we looking with regards to S Deontay Anderson. I really want this kid.
The rumor is Ole Miss bound but he hasn't taken his OV to Texas yet so we'll see. Also, from everything that I've read, it'll be hard to take both him and Brandon Jones and Jones is at the top of our board.
IMO this is the best possible scenario. Follow up the Delance commitment with his and keep building momentum into the Jan 15/16 OV weekend. Would love to get a couple more then and continue building momentum into NSD.
No. 1-ranked player in the 2017 class Dylan Moses has a top 5 of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Texas and UCLA. Says Alabama is his leader.
Surprised to see LSU didn't make the top 5. I wonder if this has something to do with the future of Les Miles being in question?

The 6-foot-1, 215-pounder told SEC Country at the time that if he doesn’t end up playing in Louisiana, that he’ll end up playing in the state of Texas or Alabama.

It's being reported that Erick Fowler will also visit Jan.15-16th. If so that weekend will be crazy!
According to Bleacher Report, Texas A&M’s Kevin Sumlin seeking NFL job:

LOL, the aggsy really do want Texas to have a top 10 recruiting class. Well, lets hope it all works out for him and their recruiting class falls apart like we know it will.
While we are at it, lets hope that Kirby Smart takes Bo Davis with him to South Carolina so we have a shot with the Kendall Jones.
